I bought these bulbs because they are shorter than other brands. In other words, they’re less visible hanging in our bathroom globes.

Fast delivery, minimal recycle-friendly packaging!
I expect better quality materials than their NOMA equivalent, since Phillips’ PAR20 bulbs seem to be. Time will tell. These A19s arrived very quickly, and came in very minimal packaging.
In the case of these A19s, the smaller box was a bit crammed into the bigger one, crinkling it a little. But who cares about a crinkled box you are going to throw away anyway? The bulbs arrived in perfect shape, and doing it this way meant no additional cushioning-packaging was necessary! No plastic at all.
Similar thoughtfulness went into their packaging for the PAR20 bulbs I bought at the same time. Four bulbs came in one recyclable cardboard box, each in its own small paperboard (also recyclable) display, containing two very small, not-even-glued, pieces of #1-PET plastic (most recyclable kind) to contain the bulb. Packaging was very minimal, and extremely easy to recycle.
Somebody over at Phillips is using their head. Which earns them a return customer for sure.

3 of the bulbs did not last for more than I day. I thought Philips was a good brand but I found out they are junk! Do not waste your money!

These bulbs appear to be pretty close to daylight temperature. Much nicer light than than incandescent bulbs.
The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that some of the bulbs are slower to start than others. The only time you will notice is when you have multiple lights on a single switch. It's a little jarring but you just need to match the bulbs and put the slower ones in a lamp. Keep in mind, we are talking milliseconds but still noticeable.

These Philips LED bulbs are great! I recently changed 90 percent of our household bulbs to LED. These 60 watt bulbs seem to put out about the same light as a 75W standard bulb. I have currently installed 20 65W LED flood lights and 15 60W LED bulbs. The color is very close to an incandescent soft white but in every bulb I find the LED's are brighter. I have them on a dimmer . To achieve the same light effect I run the dimmer about 85%. They will not dim much past 50% but I generally don't run our lights low. Three months ago I installed a heat pump water heater. For the last few years I've kept track of our energy costs. The past three months our electric bill was $50-$60 less than this time last year. I would say the heat pump water heater was responsible for half of the cost reduction. The LED lights are definitely helping and they've been on sale at Home Depot. The power meter wheel barely moves now.

New LED technology light bulb, in conventional Old time look: it looks great.
I love this bulb: at first glance it looks like the conventional tungsten light bulb, but inside, it is the long lasting (10 year) light bulb which is very much of energy efficient.
Only problem I have seen is that the manufacturer states that is equivalent to 60 watt incandescent, which is really not correct.
A 60 watt incandescent has an average 240 lumens of light output, where as this has only 800 lumens. The good thing about is that it uses only 8.5 watts and lasts at least 10 years.

I grabbed two packs of these to use in a new vanity light fixture in my kid's bathroom. The old light fixture was a builder's grade six bulb light bar. It killed me just thinking how much power the six 60 watt round incandescent bulbs used but I didn't want to buy the round LED versions knowing I was going to replace the fixture at some point. With these LED bulbs we are now using 42 watts vs. 360 watts and it looks much nicer to boot. These bulbs are not dimmable and they don't last as long as some LEDs but the price is great. I've replaced about 98% of the bulbs in (and outside) my 2,800 sq. ft. home with LED bulbs and my energy bill shows it every month.

Very bright
These LED cool white bulbs seem to provide more illumination than the equivalent fluorescent or filament bulbs.

LED Light Bulbs
The LED Bulbs were reasonably priced and my office is so much brighter now that I switched to LED I would recommend these bulbs for the person who is ready to make switch and is holding out for the right price to switch to LED.

Failed in less than a year
Have had multiple Philips bulbs fail in less than a year, a few around the same time. LEDs should last many many years and these do not. I will not be purchasing any Philips lighting product again. Similar bulbs from a different manufacturer purchased at home depot have not had any failures in the same fixtures.

Fail after two years
I thought LED bulbs were to last longer and cost less over time. I purchased these from HD, and they last about 24 months. I've had to replace several of them around the 24-month mark because they start randomly flickering. Suspect poor quality, soldering, and heat dissipation.
