THE ONLY AQUARIUM BASKING PLATFORM FOR LARGE TURTLES
There's only one large commercial basking Platform that works and it's made for ponds, it also takes away a lot of real estate inside of the tank and on top of that, it requires an anchor. So eggrate after all is said and done, after hours of research, comes in at the top of the list, with basically no other competitors in the race for best Basking Dock for large and wide turtles. If you have a 9 inch+ slider or shell buddy, this will end up being your only and best option. Not Only Is it the best option, it's the most customizable option on top of that, just use your imagination and this will end up being the most luxurious piece of your turtles tank, for you and the turtle. I recommend buying a whole lot of cheap zip ties, you're going to need them.

This item was a perfect fit for my light fixture in my rental home. However, the location of the item was really not where I felt it should be. It was located no where near the lighting section. It was located in the lumber section on the "bottom" shelf and most of them were broken on the edges and other areas. I was fortune to get the only (2) that were not broken. I feel the item should be relocated to the lighting section to get more visibility and perhaps not get damaged in the lumber section.

Worked great as DIY Aquarium divider!
I needed a divider to keep 2 larger fish apart since one was harassing the other BUT I also wanted to allow all the other fish to go through as they pleased AND I didn't want to spend a lot. This is working great! I cut to size with regular diagonal cutting pliers (a few mm wider than I needed to "wedge" solidly in place) , cut openings the right size for the smaller fish and then sanded the cut edges smooth and rinsed (to remove the dust) - was installed in no time at all :-)

Fits Needed Purpose Perfectly
The Egg Crate works perfectly for the application that I use it for. I raise and breed aquatic turtles and use the crates to build basking platforms in my ponds and also to make tank toppers for the hatchling tanks. The crate is easy to cut down to smaller sizes for different projects.

Professional Look
These ceiling panels give our office a professional updated look. We replaced them from our old worn out flat panels that had yellowed in color. These are nice and bright. They were easy to install as we had one of our employees 16 year old son do all the installation and it only took him 5 minutes to do just one (although he replaced 60 of them)!

it was everything a remembered it to be. But it took me two visits before I could find it in our locale. It used to be in the bulk wood section in the back right corner. Then I was told it was in lighting, but all you had there were the beaded thin clear panels. I searched online but found that it was costly. So I returned and was directed to the ceiling aisle. I will eventually need another, so please don't move them again.

Good stuff. Using this as a cover for my turtle tank that light can still penetrate. Seems to be working out well. It was pretty easy to snip down to the size I needed.

Use the tiles to suspend potting cups above bottom pan. Cups did not sit in extra drained water . Cups sat up and out of water on the tile. The cups drained excess water into the pan. Easy to trim to fit pan - used needle nose pliers.

My son put it in today. It fits, and stays up ok so far. It is replacing a much studier piece, which after 35 years fell and broke, and I hope this new one will last. I'm not too sanguine, since it is kind of floppy. the stiffer ones you had were all damaged so I had to settle for this one.

With multiple, large, open top aquariums, I use these egg crate diffusers as a low cost solution to keeping my fish from jumping out, they can easily be trimmed to size with a small pair of wire cutters. And because you can set a light directly on top of the egg crate, you are not limited to lights that only fit the tank size. Aquarium lights can get very expensive
