Easy Install and low profile looks very tasteful
I wanted to add a little definition to my front lawn. There is lots of dirt and a few trees. I've been gradually adding plants and some details. I wanted to border some of my trees and surround with rock beds, so this was just perfect for me. The only issue I had was that it was very difficult for me to cut - but I don't have very good hand strength, so it's probably not the product. As others mentioned, there aren't enough stakes, but I purchased extra when I ordered. I laid it out as straight as I could (weighting it in several places to keep it in place) for several days outside so it would be easier to work with. One kit was perfect for my mini project. I even had about 1.5 feet left over. I'm very happy with this and would definitely purchase this product again should I need more.

We were looking for something that wouldn't require any deep digging around our front flower bed. This seemed like a solution to our needs. Just position it, drive in the stakes, then fill in with your choice of mulch/rock. Bonus, it bends very well and is easy to cut when you have a smaller area. It does look very plastic, so where we were hoping to use it won't work. We have an area in the backyard that we will be moving it to and it will work great there.

I received this edging kit as part of a promotion. It comes with 20-feet of edging, six stakes, and an extension piece to join another edging to extend the system. The quality seems goog. Only time will tell how durable the plastic is to the Texas summer heat and hard winter cycle. It's easy to install using the accessories that came with it. Only thing I wish were different is the height of the edging. I wanted something a bit taller.

I wouldn't exactly say no-dig; you still have to create a 2.5 inch deep trench in order for this edging to be installed properly. If you have a motorized edger, great. If not, a hand edging tool could work, but with decidedly more effort along the 40-foot length of this piece. Overall, it's an attractive edger that I'm glad to have since I am weary of constantly having mulch spilling onto my lawn; it does its job well.

I just finished digging a flowerbed around my 400 square foot deck and was originally planning to just dig a deep edge all the way around the deck and lay topsoil and mulch, but when I saw these, I thought it may look a bit better. I opened up the package and edging seems to be very durable and easy to bend around the edge of my flower bed. My only concern is whether or not there are enough stakes to use, but if not, I can always pick some up from the store. I still have to get about 5 yards of topsoil and then mulch delivered, but im looking forward to seeing how these look. I ordered this set and a 40 ft set as well to cover the entire area around my deck.

I really like the ease of installation of the Scalloped Woodgrain Plastic NO-DIG Edging. I have installed this around multiple flower gardens this year -- in both black and brown. The approach of using flat lips for inserting the pegs is great -- but there are just not enough pegs included in the kit. My hubby made me additional pegs by cutting steel rod and welding a large washer onto the end. I only wish the edging stood a little higher. two reasons for not giving a "5" score -- need more pins and would like a taller edging.

I received the 40 ft. Black Scalloped Woodgrain Plastic No-Dig Edging Kit for next spring. I have sort of laided it out with a plan to make the fountain garden a little larger. This scalloped woodgrain edging will look real nice around the garden. I have read the instructions and I can see it will be very easy to put it around the garden. With spikes that came with it I should have no trouble with it moving.

I have not had the chance to install this 40 ft. Red Woodgrain Plastic No-Dig Edging Kit yet. It will be used for a barrier for a flower bed my wife wants from. I need to rotor-till the flower bed and remove some of the encroaching lawn. But I know the installation will be quick and easy. There is no digging to do. All you have to do is place the edging where you want it on top of the ground and hammer in the included spikes. Doesn't get easier then that. I only gave it 4 stars because 12 spikes for 40 foot of edging to me is not enough.

This edging system is simple in design and very effective. We have a section of mulch immediately adjacent to a short sidewalk and the mulch is constantly spilling onto the sidewalk. It is annoying and unsightly. This simple solution was easy to install and does a great job holding the mulch back. I was concerned it was going to be flimsy, but it is thick, sturdy plastic. I am very happy with this product.

The forty foot length was great for my application. Very rigid product that will hold the stepping stones I want to use this for. It is easy to install but my ground is so hard that I have to predrill for the plastic nails the hold it in place. I liked the ease of installation with block. This will also work well with ground cover or gravel. It holds the block tightly in place.Works very well.

This product did not work for me as I had hoped. My plan was to replace the existing seasoned edging that I already had. This product advertised "no digging" which I needed because I had rubber chat that I did not want to replace in the flowerbed. This product would have required that I dig out a wider space in order to stake it down in its appropriate given holes. It also would have required that I buy additional stakes as they suggested in their paperwork because they do not supply enough. I would not recommend this product as there are easier products available that will work for my flowerbed.

Hi there Bonus. We're sorry to hear the No-Dig wasn't what you needed for your particular project. Although it didn't work for your bed, we're confident that it would work well in other applications. Thanks for your feedback! DimexProducts

ProFlex 20 Ft Red Scalloped Woodgrain Plastic No Dig Edging Kit So simple to install! This edging is made of a fairly heavyweight red plastic that looks like wood. This time I got the 20 ft piece so I could finish along the side of my house (the flowerbed butts up against neighbors drive & the bark usually ends up in their drive, this border will eliminate that problem). This edging is about 2 in tall, it came with instructions, connector pieces and the stakes. It gives my garden edges a finished look. This border does come in various lengths and heights. On the plus side this border isn’t “torn-up” by using a trimmer up against it, very durable. I highly recommend this brand.

I got this as a secondary border and ended up using it on a side of the sidewalk by itself. I really like the low profile and I like that the little spikes to hold it down are hidden on the bottom of the inside so it anchors it down .nice and snug and no one is the wiser. I would definitely buy again and probably will for the other side. Really nice!

It is twenty foot long and feels like a brittle plastic, if it's brittle now it's not going to last in Florida. I was going to use it for a tree ring but you don't get enough stakes, six stakes is not enough What you get is the twenty foot plastic edging with 6 stakes and a connector, I guess to add on another edging strip. I think the quality is questionable and so it only gets 4 stars.

I used this edging around my circular pool. Installation of this is very easy just lay it down and stake it in. Edging is easy to handle if you stretch is out first to get the curves from being in the box out. Edging looks good and its a quick install. There is a limited amount of stakes to use so make sure you buy more or you will be running back out. Edging kit is expandable sp you can easily join more together for a seamless look. Edging is also easy to cut so you can fit to size any area.

The red scalloped plastic edging kit has everything you need to install edging except enough stakes to hold it in the ground. When purchasing an edging kit one would think there would be adequate amounts of stakes would be included but this is something you will need to purchase in addition to. I used this edging around my circular pool and if you dont have additional stakes it will not be a secure hold. Installation of this is very easy just lay it down and stake it in. Edging is easy to handle if you stretch is out first to get the curves from being in the box out. Edging looks good and its a quick install just dont forget to buy more stakes.

This is the second batch of this plastic edging material that I have gotten. Unfortunately the first 20 feet worked so well that I had to make some more planting areas. You can easily make circles ovals or easily cut it and make squares or rectangles. This is a very simple way to make and define landscape plantings areas that look good, hold the mulch in place and help the plantings at the same time.

This edging kit came rolled in a small box along with two bags of 5 spikes each and 2 connectors should you have a smaller garden and want to connect the two final edges together. The spikes are six inches long and easily hold the edging into the ground. I deployed the entire 40 feet around my garden and used all the spikes. I needed to buy more because of the rolling, uneven design of my garden. The scalloped edge is approximately 2 inches high and will hold any small rocks placed against it to finish the design. The edging was easy to install.

We needed a short edging to go along one edge of two flower beds as I was wanting to add an inch or two of rock to help with the weeds. Since it is a trench less border it stakes down amazingly easy with the provided stakes. Since I had two straight sections too do, I laid it out in the sun to warm and get a little more limber to get it to straighten out. The only thing I would like to see is the top edges be smoothed out where there is excess plastic, but it can be taken care of easily with a little sandpaper.

I had a slightly different idea when this was billed as "no dig". You have to bring one side down by the height of the edging, but if you are, for example, using it to keep lawn and bark separate, then all you have to do is pull the bark back and lay down the edging. I guess that DOES qualify as "no dig"! It's not long enough to prevent grass from growing under it (into flower beds, for example), but for bark, rock, sand, ... separation from lawn, it works great. You place it in position, stake it down with the included plastic nails, and pull the material back over it, and you're finished.

Very nice black, scalloped border that is super easy to install. At 20 ft. in length this is best suited for a small area or if you need to add on to a longer piece. Not having to dig, is of course a major plus and with all the holes in the part that lays on the ground, it's easy to pin with the stakes. You can shift the pins to adjust for curves or if you hit a rock while pinning. As usual, I wish the manufacturer would add another two or so stakes because that will make curves easier and that's my only criticism. This will help to hold in your mulch and can be further enhanced with the addition of brick on either side, as I have done. And you know, black goes with everything.

This Brown Scalloped Woodgrain Plastic No-Dig Edging is very easy to install. As the name implies, all you need to do is scrape away any existing mulch and get to the ground between your lawn and your garden. Then the pegs easily insert through the inside ribbing. Drag mulch back over the inside ribbing and you are done! I have brown -- wish I had gotten black. Also, I will need to purchase some additional pegs to complete the installation. 10 pegs for 40 feet is just not enough, especially if using in a curve. I think a peg is needed every 8-10" instead of every 4 feet. The edging comes with a connector for combining 40 foot with a 20 foot section or with another 40 foot section. But again, two pegs needed side by side. Additionally, if you want an edging that prevents grass clippings from getting into your mulch while edging, this is not tall enough. We will use a 5" edging against our larger gardens.

This landscape edging is easy to install and looks pretty darn good. It boasts itself as NO-DIG. I would agree with that description, especially if your are just installing new landscaping. The ground where I was installing it was pretty rough and had some clumps of dead grass the I needed to scrape away. The good: Easy to set out and "nail down" with the included stakes. Concerns: Needs a LOT more stakes. Especially if you have any turns/bends in the edging. Also The edging would look nicer if it were about another 1" or so taller. But I am happy with the product. Pros: Easy to Install, Good Shape Cons: needs more stakes, a little short

Very easy to do landscape edging. This one has a 2" scalloped edge is 40' long, with a woodgrain look that is recycled plastic. Quick and simple installation, no digging required. You can make it curve or for our case we are keeping it straight. It is easy to bend and is flexible. It's also easy to cut with snipers. We use pea stone in between our slate steps leading to our raised bed garden. So we plan on using this on the sides to help keep the pea stone and the mulch in place. They come with 12 8" spiral plastic pins to secure but we always use extra to keep in place. You can purchase additional ones separately. It also comes in 20' length and in black, brown or red.

Easy to install. The BLACK SCALLOPED WOODGRAIN PLASTIC NO-DIG EDGING KIT was the easiest thing to install. The material is made of sturdy plastic. The long nails that comes with it is practical. I only wish it was a little taller. It will keep the grass and the edge separate. All you need is a hammer to drive the nails and a pair of snippers to cut the material to the exact length. I am getting more as I have 3 more trees in my back yard.

Great 40 foot brown scalloped wood grain plastic no dig edging kit! The edging is a hard plastic and very sturdy, so it doesn't lose its shape in the hot sun. It is very easy to use, we put it around our fire pit. We unrolled the whole roll laid it around the fireplace, measured the distance and and used the anchoring spikes to hold it in place then placed the anchored the splicer to hold the ends together. It was very easy to cut to the length we needed. We then placed pea gravel in side of the edging. Looks great around our fire pit. Looks high end!!
