Quick dams inflated part way but water went underneath anyway, just like nothing was there at all. I am returning all three.

I bought two of these to use in my basement which is prone to flooding. They were easy to use and did an outstanding job of diverting the water towards my sump pump, thus keeping half my flood prone basement dry. I was really impressed with these and bought more. I like that they last awhile too and can be pre-activated if needed. The wedge really keeps them in place also.

Have a very okd 100 year basement that can leak when there is a big rain. Overnight thr bags filled but floor was bone dry after and completely contained - worked as designed

Used these for the back of my house and it worked perfectly!

It swelled up nicely and is diverting water on my driveway as desired. Before laying it out a heavy rain had dug a 100' ditch along side and under my driveway.

Works really well. Diverts water and is easy to set up. I live at the bottom of a hill and at times, my neighbors runoff tends to fill my basement window wells. This product diverts the water away. It's just an easy solution to a problem.

Purchased the 10ft bags and smaller bags after using them previously. Hurricane Nicole floated the small bags away without swelling. The 10 foot bag was pre soaked and installed. After the garage flooded I found the bag flat without any swelling. I felt confident these would help but they were an utter failure.

I bought this looking at the pictures they provide that it can sit in front of a garage and prevent water from coming in. First rain storm, worked great! Then we had to drive out of the garage because well, that’s what it’s used for. The guard squashed down where the tires went over and I thought they would just inflate the next time it rained. They did not! Basement flooded again! I guess you can either move them everytime back and forth when it rains or keep spending $25 everytime it rains.

We had a nasty flash flood in NYC about a year ago. After that incident, we went out and bought this and some other stuff. Today, there was another flash flood and I thought to keep an eye on the pesky drains in front of the house. I didn’t have more than two minutes before the flooding set in. NO TIME to set up the portable sump pump nor would it have worked quickly enough. I broke out the dam and it worked in seconds shielding our garage. PHEWWWWW

Worked exactly like we hoped. We have a new lawn and rain was washing seed away from the edges because of our steep driveway. The day after we put the barriers down we had a down-pour and high winds. The barriers stayed in place and diverted water away from the areas we wanted. Highly recommend for low level water issues.

The flood barrier I have used multiple times. Plenty of gel so it swells up tight and does an excellent job blocking and diverting water.

Didn’t last! Picked two of these up yesterday afternoon to protect my garage from flooding. One rain and they have already burst open with the hydrogel is spewing out. Garage flooded anyway. Would not recommend.

So I was looking for something to stop the water from running out of my shower, that WAS for my handicapped mom-in-law (R.I.P 12/28/2017) EVERYTHING I was looking at was way out of my price range! An associate at The Home Depot in Clovis, CA. recommended this product....im going back in a few minutes to get another, the one I bought has DEFINITELY served its purpose!!!

Works as advertised. The water absorbed into the dam and it formed a barrier really well. Easy to use, flexible. Caution: If your idiot sister runs it over with her Jeep, the effectiveness drops. To its credit ,the whole dam didn't deflate, just the part that aforementioned idiot sister ran over.

Water still poured in, around and underneath. Waste of money and time!

Works well. Using to direct runoff in different direction. Takes time to dry if you aren't planning to leave out. I would definitely recommend

BEST PRODUCT EVER !!!!!!! We have an old sandstone basement and water will seep in when the ground is saturated. We keep these around the inside perimeter of the basement year round; and we've been using the same Quick Dams for over 2 years! They dry out and fill up over and over. We used to have water seeping in and running under the furnace. Not anymore! I can't say enough good about all the Quick Dam products! Saved us from continually mopping up a wet basement!

Wonderful Product! Just what I needed.

Great product... very hard to find.. had to drive to Ithaca to get all that we needed.. worth the trip.. would recommend this product if you need to keep water away form getting into your home or away from anything in your home..

Great Product! Recent torrential rains overwhelmed our neighborhood catch basin, filling it with mud and debris. An entire hillside of water began filling my backyard, threatening to flood my home. I used Quick Dam to hold back the rising waters which gave me enough time to build a temporary diversion dam to a secondary catch basin using Quick Dam. This stopped the hillside of water from flooding into my backyard and diverted the water where it needed to go. Easy to deploy, and has stood up to a week of rain so far.

After I used it I bought 6 more They work better than I expected Very Good Product

Lightweight out of the box. Easy to put in place. Filled up with rainwater in 10 minutes and kept the rainwater from coming in under the garage door. Worked amazingly well. No sand to mess with. Not heavy even when expanded with water. It rained for 11 days straight and the water was like a river in front of the garage and coming in 3-4 ft before I used Quick Dam. Wonderful product!

Great invention, low profile, and keeps mud out of the carport area.

Does not stop water between (2) or more when laid in a continuous line

It wont stop water moving from one room to another.
