Excellent heavy duty sweep. With metal supports there are no issues dealing with a loose handle. I use it around the barn for sweeping up straw, feed, dirt, and gravel. It meets all my needs.

This push broom works much better than any other broom I've used in my driveway. I have a lot of wet pine needles that are difficult to sweep up with an ordinary broom. This Quickie Job Site Rough Surface Push Broom is the best one I've used. The bristles on the broom are stiff enough so it sweeps up most of the wet pine needles on the rough concrete surface. The broom handle is good quality and is well connected to the bottom bristle part so I know it won't break off. I could have purchased the cheaper version half the price but I'm glad I spent the extra money because this broom won't fall apart. The wet pine needles can get stuck inside the bristles but they fall out when the broom is shaken or brushed out with my hand. I'm glad I got this!

We purchased this for our pool decking and patio. Our patio and pool decking have a rough textured no-slip surface. Cleaning it without using lots of water was difficult. We purchased this because of its Rough Surface design. It allows us to clean with half the amount of water we previously needed. The construction is very sturdy. It should last for years. The bristles are holding up very nicely and are stiff enough to get the surface very clean without causing damage to the pool decking.

Wow! What a well made broom. It definitely looks as if it will last a very long time.(It has a five year warranty.) I found it to be very comfortable to hold and easy to use. We had a good amount of mud and debris from recent rains on the driveway so I decided to test the broom out there first. It did a great job of sweeping all of the stuff off the driveway. I love it.

No doubt about it, it is a heavy duty push broom for outdoor use. It is well constructed and USA assembled of imported components. It is a bit heavier than most brooms due to the metal support brace. Yes, one does need some extra muscle in which to use, but it does get the job done. It was a bit heavier for my wife to use, so I guess I will be the one using it. The bristles are more aggressive so as to provide a better cleaning ability especially fine dirt. Compared to our 20-30 year resident push broom it does a nice job. But as previously stated, it does require some additional muscle power to use. And yes, becuase of the cleaning ability, it is recommended. It is warranted for 5 years against wearout. The manufacturer does make several versions of this broom in various bristle stiffness. For what it's worth, perhaps the bracket stiffener could be made out of a lighter material in order to cut out the mass weight.

This push broom is well constructed and is designed for rough surfaces. It is somewhat heavy which is why it is made for these types of surfaces. I brought the broom primarily for sweeping the street in front of my home which collects with quite a bit of sand and leaves. Between the irrigation system overspray and rainfall I’m able to sweep the wet sand and leaves into collectable piles. I tried doing this with a softer bristle broom and found I left quite a bit of debris behind with each pass. I highly recommend this push broom.
