RIDGID “FUEGO” RECIPROCATING SAW This is one strong ‘Recip saw’. I have a several reciprocating saws in my inventory and this saw is now at the top of the list. You're correct it is limited to needing power plug access, but believe me that is it's only limitation. This saw comes with a 3/4 inch stroke, an a variable trigger speed control. Allowing speed control from 0 to 3500 strokes per minute. The addition of a top mounted switch giving you the choice of either straight blade strokes or orbital strokes with a simple rotation of the switch allows you to cut through almost anything you need to cut. The adjustable depth blade shoe at the front of the saw gives you the ability to use more of your blade before needing a replacement, while still keeping a tight grip on the work surface. Personally I also appreciate the fact has easy access to the saws ‘brushes’, by way of it screw cap at the top and its protected bottom cap behind the cover at the trigger guard. All things considered this saw is a winner in all categories, providing you have a power plug available. Ridgid was right on the mark with naming the saw ‘FUEGO’ it really has fiery excellence.

I'm a General Contractor and I used this saw to cut through a 16 inch steel I beam and it worked perfectly ! It only took me 15 minutes with the metal diablo blade

Good tool for the job I needed it for

This is replacing my 15 year old saw and it has some great features. The keyless blade changing and the variable speed trigger are something I didn't have. It is well balanced and the handle is a good size. I have had it for a few weeks and have already used it on a few products and the performance was very good.

I first used the saw to cut 1-1/2” diameter pipe into 12 pieces. I was expecting it to take me at least one hour. To my surprise, I finished in about 15 minutes. The saw cut easily thru the pipe. I’m very happy with the product.

It worked great for cutting through nails at the foot of studs I was removing, as well as the wood footers I had to remove.

Light weight, easy to switch blades, cuts thick pieces of wood/posts with appropriate blade. I would recommend.

I have used different brands but I used the ridgid about 3 mths ago it was good and balance in my hand quick to change blade .

Just purchased it a few days ago and it cut right through metal like butter. Can’t wait to do my other projects with it.

I haven't been able to use it yet but all the other RIDGID tools I have been very good and I don't any reason this one won't be also.

I bought this Rigid reciprocating saw to replace one I've had for 15 years. Had a problem with the new one, posted a bad review, and returned it for a refund. Rigid's customer service asked me to contact them and when I did, their customer service has been above and beyond amazing! They truly stand behind their products, 100%, and value each and every customer, which is rare these days. LOVE my new Rigid saw! Thank you, Rigid.

The saw itself is great, but the blades it comes with are not. My husband was removing some small stumps using this saw. He was able to remove them but the blade was quite wobbly and broke in half midway through the job. Overall, the saw was great and it made the job *mostly* easy. Definitely glad we bought it and recommend it to others. Just make sure you pick up extra blades so you don't have to make an extra trip.

The drill is a great toll and easy to use.
