The color was just what I was looking for on our fireplace. After it dried I took a wire brush on a drill and distressed it. It was exactly what I was hoping for, to see the natural highlights of the original stone.

I absolutely love this product. The ease of application and clean up makes this product a dream. There is no smell and the end result is amazing. I am still in awe of the difference it made in my living room. I did use a true 50/50 mix. Because my brink has such a deep, heavy texture I was unable to give it a true "whitewash" look, I am okay with that because the end result is still looks a bit "washed". I used a cheap, stiff paintbrush. I cannot rave about this product enough.

We used the Avorio Limewash. It is easy to work with but definitely recommend to follow the dilution instructions perfectly for the best result. We bought the 4 gallon bucket and were only able to complete the front part of the house (visible from the road). Granted, we did seem to put it on thicker than most other users. Still satisfied with the result just need to finish the back. (not nearly as much brick, Built addition)

Excellent way to get the white wash look on many types of materials. The company may say that 1 qt doesn't go very far but you can thin this stuff out quite a bit. I managed to paint an outdoor chimney that is 20ft tall by 4 ft wide on 3 sides with quite a bit left over. If your just looking for a white wash I would do multiple test pieces and thin out to your liking. Also this stuff goes on appearing transparent but when it dries it comes out much thicker and will totally cover the brick, so make sure you don't soak your brush. You can apply this to many materials such as pavers, brick, concrete and even flashing around the chimney and from my experience, it hasn't faded or washed away. There's no need to get a special brush for this, just go get a 4 in cheap paint brush and you'll be good to go.

I was a bit apprehensive to undertake this project as I planned on limewashing my entire house while my husband was at work. Romabio's limewash paint was unbelievably easy to use. I started in the back of the house--following the directions on the container. I was shocked at how easy it was to apply and how awesome it looked! I used a paint sprayer to apply the paint and used a small power washer to remove what I wanted aesthetically. Although I love DIY projects, this tops all of them thus far! I literally did it myself except for the very top of the 2-story--I had my son and husband help with that. It has been almost 4 weeks since application and it actually looks even better with time. I HIGHLY recommend Romabio Limewash. It was very reasonable! If I can do it--anyone can!

Mixed 2 parts limewash to 1 part water for opaque cover in 1 coat. Took before pictures so we could find black bricks and wire brush next day. Did not want to remove with pressure washer and expose any red bricks. Used 2.5 gallons mixed limewash, covered approximately 300 sq ft. Bricks have rough surface with deep raked morter joints. Loved the results.

I have a dark brown brick fireplace i wanted to paint a lighter color to make my living room brighter because there are no windows in the living room. I bought the limewash 2 months ago. Qhen i opened it i notices its solid not liquid consistency like in the YouTube videos. When i diluted it sprayed my brick with water and then applied the limewash its not a thick coating on my fireplace. Im underwhelmed with the final result.

I love this product! It was so easy to work with and to acheive different looks withing the 5 day time frame if I was indecisive. I chose a full application (I didn’t wipe off the product at all) but it still looks natural allowing all the imperfections of the brick to show through! I actually enjoy spending time in my living room now, it’s so bright and airy.

Easy to apply with their brush. Very pleased with the update to our 1963 orange brick ranch. I kept a solid finish. I may apply a second coat to even out the highs and lows. Great product, easy to use, easy to clean up. We love our new house!

This stuff is wonderful! It transformed my yellowish tumbled marble back splash into a clean, beautifully aged brick. I give it a 10+!! I have never used this product before, nor did I know how to use it. Followed the instructions, and voila! Beauty!

The Romabio limewash was very easy to apply, and it was simple to remove as much or as little as we needed to, using a cloth with vinegar afterwards. The limewash softened all the colors in our 70s brown, beige and tan fireplace, and gave it a weathered, aged appearance. It was exactly the look we wanted.

Updated a1970's red brick with black mortar. Used 2 quarts Avorio White as I wanted is a softer white than the Bianco. Follow the directions as labeled. Steps I did: vacuumed the brick - work in small areas spraying water then applied the lime wash. I bought the recommended Romabio brush and also used a smaller brush for the black mortar.. this product allows you to rub off to achieve a look you want. I choose not to do that as I wanted the color of the brick and mortar to be covered. I did have to go over the black mortar as it took more product than the brick. I am very happy with the end result. Saved me from having the brick removed and replaced with stone. total time was 6 hours. I attached before and after pictures.

It was very easy to apply and get the distressed look, however my color may have been mislabeled. Once I applied over the entire fireplace and waited the recommended dry time, the color came out very beige.

I just put it on in Fall 2018 to transform the look of our house from 70s red brick to beige. Easy to apply. I thinned it down another 25% from the instructions so it covered the brick but let the different brick colors still be seen. At full strength it seemed like paint and didn't let the old brick be seen. The brick sucked it up when applied. I did not use a hose to get the whitewash effect. I wiped the face of the brick with a sponge instead.

It was a little wierd cause it's not a full gallon. But the .67 gal did one whole side of my one story house. You are suppose to mix it .67 gal of the paste to .67 gals of water but I used a little more water to stretch it a little and get my brick covered. When it dries the rain doesn't was it off but you could get a wet rag and wash some of it off if you wanted to, but I left it on thick. Very happy with it, got rid off that old red brick look on my house and left it a nice tan color. Just be careful when applying it as it gets sloppy, it's like painting with water not paint.

Over interior red, faux panel brick
mixed with the darker white color, followed directions, and came our spectacular. make sure to wet and clean the brick. I layered it to be safe on color. it chalks up, but no worries, wipe with tile sponge to get desired color. no foul odor.Worth the money.

I ordered 2 quarts at 2 different times before I started. The first quart was very watery when i opened it and die not mix up as nicely as the second. I diluted it 1:1. I got the gist of application quickly and it covered well. The brick fireplace I applied it too was unsealed and very rough. I purchased and used the recommended brush to apply it. In deep, very rough areas, and along edges, I found a smaller brush easier to get coverage with. I covered a deep red brick with Avorio white. It covered pretty well. There was some bleed through of color as it dried, but since I was going to do some wash off it was fine. The next day I used water and a cloth to do a wash off. I did a slight amount of antiquing and am very pleased with the look. Better then I anticipated.

                  love this stuff
Ended up choosing this limewash after extensive research in my attempt to "freshen up" my 1930s brick home. I havent been this happy with a purchase in some time, the stuff is quite amazing. I really think this stuff is suited well for amateur painters (I have very little experience), as it is fairly easy to mix and apply. imperfection is key with this stuff, you dont need it to look crisp and perfect. I decided to go with the wash off effect in small doses and I think it looks amazing. couldnt be happier with my purchase! p.s. I'd get the romabio brush - it's pretty easy with it- start from the bottom and work your way up. I did it the other way at first and it resulted in some runny water Mark's on the bottom since it dried after the top

Our house looks brand new! The house is a 1963 ranch with pinky orange brick. It was dark and old looking. We painted it 2 weeks ago and it has rained hard multiple times since and it did not wash off at all. Romabio lime wash was easy to mix and truly does cover in 1 coat. Total cost was $330 including the brushes to cover approx. 1600 sf. We purchased 2 of the Romabio brushes but after painting 1/2 of the first wall we decided to spray it on. The brushes did work fine but we are 60 years old and it was just to much for us. We did not do the wash off technique, we love it just the way it is. In my opinion it looks more natural than painting with latex and it still allows the brick to breath.

Used this paint yesterday. The weather was a nice 70 degrees. The paint mixed and went on perfectly. Not too thick and easy to apply. I took before and after photos. It does dry a tad lighter— but still thrilled with it! We had a hard rain last night and it still looks just as beautiful as yesterday. The sides of my house that I painted gets the full sun and full brunt of any harsh weather. Very happy with it all around and will definitely recommend!
