Love this thing! No more pumping . Just fill and go. Only bad thing is in the beginning you must learn how fast to let fluid flow. You will use a lot of weed killer if not careful. But overall, I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Used this sprayer twice and it got the job done. 2ah was plenty to do 2 sessions @ 4 gallons. I have bigger batteries on hand (up to 12ah), but I didn't want the added weight. 37# strapped to my back was enough. 5? if the tips were stainless steel and the trigger mechanism wasn't so cheap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ryobi mister fans have fine watertight covers. Critical here too. Otherwise simply rinsing the container gets water in the battery compartment! Would like handles on the tank top sides ( the straps are hard to lift with and the cap unscrews when the container is picked up or swung by it) Pump is undersized since three tanks of spray use an insignificant amount of battery power. A larger pressure adjustment knob would be more convenient. Overall, still better than hand pumping though somewhat riskier.

They started out with an excellent product and cut costs ans ended up with a piece of junk that can't even support its own weight. The straps break in a matter of weeks. hoses split and the design makes it irreparable. Sad to see this brand go downhill so fast.

I am giving this sprayer a 5 star. I have only used it a few times, but its a great advancement over pump the handle versions. Nice steady pressure, easy pressure adjustment, it works best for me on the lowest pressure setting good atomization and coverage. It comes with 3 versions of nozzles, a simple cone spray, a double headed nozzle and a nozzle that accepts Tee Jet style tips so your selection of flow, droplet size, fan or cone spray pattern is substantial. Its only draw back is its a little heavy empty. However, when its on your back and filled with spray solution it is obviously going to be heavy and the extra weight of the unit does make much difference.

This sprayer is junkier than the junkiest thing you mistakenly ordered on Temu. I got one use out of it before the on/off switch stopped working. Having registered it on the Ryobi website, I was sure I could work my way through the warranty process. Nope. If you buy it as a kit, it only gives you the option to warranty the battery. Okay, I thought, I'll justcall Ryobi customer service... 45 minutes later, I was still on hold. Never reached a human. Don't. Buy. This.

On first use it had a hgh pitch whine but aftr that it worked fine. Really like not having to pump up. Really pleased so far.

I'm very pleased with quality of this sprayer so far. The joint where the hose exits the tank appears to be sturdy and should last. I did about an hour of total spraying and my 40v battery still had 3 charged lights.

Bought this sprayer online. The nozzle assembly and 45 elbow were missing right out of the box. Do not count on using this product the day you buy it brand new.

Sprayer works good but it had a bad o ring,between product registration and warranty customer service was terrible.

I’m pleased with the performance of the backpack sprayer and I’ve used it for several applications around my home and lawn. If the expensive FlowZone brand is not within your budget I recommend the RYOBI backpack sprayer which should suffice for the average homeowner or small business. I wish the unit came with a boom arm and two fan nozzles but that can be purchased elsewhere for now.

Awesome sprayer. Effortlessly did in 30min what took over 1/2 a day with my old hand pump sprayer and my arm wasn’t worn out.

I bought this sprayer hoping it would be easy to use and it wasn't. It never had a good 'spray' to it. The spray was very weak and never improved. I made sure the battery was well charged and there weren't any obstructions in the tubes. I could hear the motor, it sounded fine, but there was no spray, more like a dribble. I should have contacted Ryobi about this sooner but time got away from me and now I have time to complain about the product. I have seen on YouTube that quite a few people have experienced the same problems. Apparently, there is a 'reed valve' in the motor housing that pumps the fluids....it doesn't seem to be working at all.

Added to my Ryobi collection I do recommend this sprayer.

Good battery life and easy to use. It has good pressure and several nozzles for all types of spraying.
