Great for fogging misquotes!
This worked PERFECTLY for what I intended to use it for. I'm performing some misquote control on my property as they were making their way inside as we were coming in and out of the house. I purchased the electrostatic sprayer and promptly applied one of the pesticides that is listed on the compatability chart. By the next day we were mostly misquote free. I still have more areas to treat, but I was very impressed with how easy this is to setup, use, and clean. My one wish, is that it had a little more of a "blower" function to it to propel the mist deeper into foliage.

This was the more expensive "Electrostatic" version of the two...
This was the more expensive "Electrostatic" version of the two Ryobi foggers. The fogging itself is more like a fine spray than a "Fog" - It goes through the solution very quick when on med-high setting. I went through the whole .5 gal tank twice before doing my whole yard perimeter.
It does work pretty well otherwise.

More of a battery powered sprayer than a fogger
Bought this to fog yard for insects. Normally use propane fogger but it was acting up so I gave this a try. Doesnt spray more than about 3 feet max. Didnt see any additional coverage from the "electroststic". Will probably be returning . not worth 150 dollars.

Easy to use and effective. The only issue is the large droplets that fall to the floor during use on higher volume spray settings.

Get a 10 dollar Hudson Sprayer Instead
Got this for killing the overwhelming population of mosquitos that plagued my yard. After comparing different options we decided to get this one. It is a legitimate glorified battery operated Hudson Sprayer. You will go through a gallon of liquid in about 10 minutes on high. It would not prime, without applying air pressure to the tank. Once primed it sprayed but certainly did not fog. Mosquitos are still at large, will be returning for a much cheaper option that will fog and kill mosquitos.

Good spray
I have some potted pepper and tomato plants. I've kept them potted so I can move them around to confound aphids. It helps but they always catch up. This sprayer is supposed to charge the droplets so they cling to the target. It creates a fine mist spray easy to direct at my plants but i can't tell if it is actually "charged" and drawn to them?

So far it works well and will serve a purpose...
So far it works well and will serve a purpose in my tool reserve. I am a commercial user and use foggers that cost 6-7 times as much and work 5x or so better. Well worth it for me.

The 3-in-1 Adjustable Nozzle Selector on this sprayer allows you to choose from multiple spray patterns by simply turning the nozzle to select between Low, Medium, and High. The low setting sprays 65 microns up to 2 ft. away, the medium setting sprays 85 microns up to 5 ft. away and the high setting sprays 160 microns up to 10 ft. away. We hope this is helpful! For the cost, it is definitely a great device. From a QC and R&D perspective there could be improvements. First priming takes years (child was 2 when I started priming it, now hes almost 7) and drips due to distance between spray nozzle and outer ring it seems. Awesome beyond that.

This is a crap electrostatic sprayer. Runs when it wants to and not for long. You get what you pay for. Majority of the time it just hums. When it finally starts to work stops while spraying.

Wouldn't prime
Using only water, pump wouldn't prime. Thought it came bad from the factory so went and exchanged it. Same problem with the second one. Troubleshooting guide was a joke, "if it's not priming, keep priming". Don't waste your time or your money on this.
