Okay blade nothing special. The cheap chinese blade that came with my cutter (not a Ryobi) was sharper and has lasted longer than the Ryobi replacement. I bought it for cutting back dead blackberry canes. Doesn't work well on green grass and taller weeds as it wraps around arbor too quickly, two bladed version works way better!

It’s 8 inches edge to edge, so only a couple inches of cutting surface. It’s functional, but takes forever to get any work done.
