Complete novice when it comes to this stuff. Bought the exact same model of the one I was replacing. I took off the connections, pulled off the old radon part, added the new one, tightened connections, done. Easy peasy. Product was awesome and the fan stopped making the dunk dunk dunk dunk from the in-op fan.

I purchased this fan to replace same manufacturer & similar model that started to make noise after 15 years of continuous use. It is installed in an attic above the garage... even with trips up/down ladder total install time was 20 minutes.

RadonAway to the rescue
I purchased this model to replace a failed low voltage DC blower. Same size; easy swap. This new one is 120 VAC and so I had to upgrade my wiring. The new one runs smoother and quieter, and draws a good vacuum on the manometer (1.8" WC). The inlets and outlets are 4" but my pipe is 3" - my rubber grommets make the conversion. This one is probably a good choice for most installations.

Will fail within 9 months
Not sure why this is rated so high. I am on fan #3 in the last 10 months. This fan will fail on you. Buy the extended warranty because you will definitely need it. This fan will fail.

The opening at top and bottom were a little off...
The opening at top and bottom were a little off for pipe to slide into had to shave a little off the pipe to get it in.
