Does what it was designed for, took about 2 hrs to install

This was relatively easy to get wired up to my breakers. The whole process, from mounting to wiring, took about 3 hrs but I worked slow and deliberately. The wires were clearly labeled making it much easier. Using a transfer switch removes the concern of accidentally connecting a generator to grid.

I love this gen set manual 10 circuit transfer switch panel. Easily installs in little time,best safety for user and your local power company at utmost safety! Good stuff!

This box is a brilliant design. When running on line (commercial) power, it uses the original circuit breaker in your panel and things operate normally. All you’ve done is add a couple feet of cable and a switch to the circuit. And this panel is pretty wired with rails for your breaker in your main panel and a second wire to connect to the load (the word that feeds power to the circuit in the house that was originally connected to the breaker in the panel. When you transfer to generator power, you switch to the breakers in this panel. Each side of the 240v input has a 7500 watt meter to show you the current load on the generator. This panel is also capable using 30 amp breakers in the first two spots. This will allow you the option of turning off some other circuits in the house and running an electric hot water heater (check your equipment for the current usage and needed breaker size and don’t overload your generator) or other high current circuits. It comes with two tie bars for 240v circuits so the line/load switches transfer at the same time. They can be removed if you don’t need both of them by unscrewing them from the side of the switch by rotating the metal spacer between the switches. Overall, this is a well designed product that is easy to install and operate.

This is a high quality device that was relatively easy to install. The directions were easy to follow and well stated. I would highly recommend this transfer switch.

Was prewire with good instructions, installed easily. no problems yet but I haven't had to use it, hopefully, I won't have to for a while.

Overall it's a nice unit and performed well during a recent power outage. One thing to note is that the leads which connect to your incoming power source are 10 gauge wire. Being a 50 Amp box I would have expected them to be 6 gauge wire. Instead of leads or pigtails it would also be nice if the manufacturer had lugs to connect your incoming wires to.

the flex that comes with it needs to be longer and number 10 wire for hook up to generator to small

A Circuit that was one of the 120v single breaker was actually 240v and took out everything on that line!!It was ore wired to breakers so nothing on my install could have done that! Now I realize that I should have double checked manufacturing assemble, probably Mexico, but PREWIRED ???!!!

Iine and Load feed through circuits not marked. If they are, it is so tiny and obscure we could not read it. They should be sufficiently marked 1-10 in and Out.

Good product came with 30 amp in a/b and 20 amp in c/d double pole so it was perfect. The other 6 were 15 amp. Easy to install and although I probably will not lose power now that the backup is installed it’s well worth it.
