I have used these elements for 20 years. Each last 5-7 years in my life=time water heater. No one local carries these so I order them in advance for the next burn out.

titanium heating element
have replaced the original copper element once for corrosion, now it's about two years later and getting signs of corrosion again. that's why i decided to use the titanium replacement. installation was easy since i had already bought the 1 7/8 inch socket the first time i did this.

Perfect Fit; Works Great
Our lower element finally quit working after many years. This replacement was a perfect fit; however, be aware that you need the proper wrench to remove the old one and install this one. The wrench can be found online and is inexpensive. You MUST turn off all electricity to the water heater first; then drain the water heater until the element is exposed. If you don't drain the water heater, you will have a flood. The element includes the proper gaskets to ensure a water tight seal. After the easy install, everything was back to normal. Would definitely purchase again should the need arise.
