Not worth the savings: spend the extra $
I have two of these devices and I constantly having to figure out why the lights are on. Turns out the developers of the software have not fixed a bug that will cause the accessory to default to factory setting. The really frustrating part is you spend extra money on a device that now requires you uninstall it or cut the power completely cause otherwise it malfunctions… and now you have to go spend $30 to start back where you started.

order not picked up the store cant find cameras
This was a terrible experience your app said my cameras were at the store to pick up and they were not. I cancelled the order. Never doing this again

*Beware of Bears*
I recommend it highly. I now can see my driveway, when before it was a total blind spot from within the house. Living in the mountains, I was worried about bears greeting me in the mornings.

Unlike last years model, this does not flush mount
Bought the Floodcam Plus since the 2021 model is not available anymore. The 2022 model has a RIGID FLAT BACK that sits on top of the bracket/bracket screws leaving a very large gap. Every other light I have, the back is designed to be concave so that the bracket/screws fit inside, and last year’s Floodcam model had a thick flexible backing to seal it. I don't know how this year’s model even passed code for exterior use. Caulking that large of a gap is ridiculous. I returned it.

Ring Floodlight Cam Video Will Turn Pink
FYI, since Ring won't tell you I will. After a year are so the daylight video will turn pink. If you're lucky you'll still be under warranty so they'll replace it. After the first replacement it will happen again then you can't replace it so choose wisely. Customer service knows this is a huge problem yet they're doing nothing to solve it. You've been warned

Great Security and Peace of mind

We already had on Ring Flood Light setup in our front yard, but we wanted to also keep track of anything going on in the backyard so we set this one up on our back porch. This time I did not have an existing light so there was some electrical work to be done. It was still as easy as one, two, three.
The camera is so easy to install. All the tools and hardware are clearly marked and the design is intended to make things very easy. From installing the simple mounting bar, the mounting plate, and the included strap that allow the camera to hang while all the wires are connected behind it, everything just lines up easily.
Our yard is on the big side so I didn't expect the night view to be able to see the entire yard, but even with our back fence 100ft from the camera you can see everything even when the light is off.
A best features are the smart alerts and schedules that allows you to only get alerts for people and to set specific times or a "snooze" to not receive motion alerts. We hang out on our back porch most evenings, and its nice to be able to set a short time to disable the alerts but then ensure all other times we are alerted of anyone in our yard.
All around a great product.

Great Security Day and Night!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus about two weeks ago. I couldn't wait to get it up but I needed a little help putting it up. It was easy to install and set up. But me on a ladder is not a good combination. Once we got the app all you had to do was scan the code. I was impressed with the quality of the camera during the day , but I was blown away by the night vision camera. You get notifications and the floodlights come on when there's movement . It covers a wide range view of the back and side yard. You can adjust the sensitivity, turn on the floodlights and have a two way conversation all from the app. Oh and the picture quality is amazing even when you zoom in. The Ring Floodlight cam provides you with a sense of security and peace of mind. Whether you home or away rest assured Ring has you covered. A spectacular product from a trusted company.

Great features

Great floodlight to illuminate the deck area plus HD video and built in siren so we feel protected in case of an intruder. It has a clear view video of your area.It records and keeps history of your recordings. It also has 2 very bright spot light you point in several directions. It also has 2 way communication to speak to whoever is at your door.I love the siren feature to. It covers a very large area and has live real time video. You can use it on a lap top or PC and can hook up to alexa. I love that it warns you that someone is at your door and you can adjust it for various areas you need covered.You can share and take pictures with your friends and neighbors.Also can get more features if you subscribe for a small amount of money and peace of mind. Has 1080 p video quality. It is motion controlled and has night vision also.

Good add to the Ring ecosystem

Now, with a new pool being installed, I wanted some additional monitoring for the backyard. I replaced an old light fixture on near my pool to my new Ring Floodlight Cam Plus. It works great and provides the extra monitoring I wanted to for my backyard pool. The install only took about 15 minutes to replace the old fixture with the new Ring Floodlight Cam Plus. I was able to add the new cam to my Ring profile in about 5 minutes.

Great

Easy to install- we removed an outdoor porch light and installed this in a matter of a few minutes. Easy to move the lights to your desired location zones. It was super easy to connect to our WiFi. It gives us a sense of security k owing we will get alerts when the zone has been compromised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Floodlight cam wired plus is very easy to install and set up. I liked that it included everything you need. However, if this is your first floodlight you will need to purchase a mounting plate that isn't included in the box. The cam is lightweight and can be adjusted. The camera can be rotated and tilted to fit your viewing needs. The lights can also be adjusted to direct light where you'd like. The camera quality is clear. I liked that the camera offers color night vision. It synched up quickly with my existing ring devices. The floodlight offers 3 light settings as well as a siren. The siren is loud and when activated the camera blinks red. The siren can run for 30 seconds. The light can be set for motion activation at night. The activation setting is from 1 up to 15 minutes. You can adjust zones to where you'd like to have a camera view. The floodlight connects to a 2.4GHZ signal. I was very happy with the way this product works.

Love it!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I say I'm in love with this floodlight I ment it. It's not as heavy as I thought it was going be. When I first looked at it I thought you could plug it in until I opened it and saw you had to wire it in. So for me I didn't have a previous floodlight installed so I had to make a spot from scratch. But if you already have a floodlight installed it's much easier to install. The set up was easy to do all you have to do is scan this Barcode they give you and it takes you through the step to set it up with just a few clicks and your done. It will only take about 2 or 3 minutes. And you got to make sure you have wi-fi to use it. The features are great video quality is great. I love that you can talk through it and hear what's going on. The lights are so bright and it's led so you don't have to worry about having to change the light bulb. You can set the spots to detect motion. It has a siren you can make go off. But most of all you can see what's happening at your house at all times when your away. Definitely recommend everyone to get one.!

Great Picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is the latest addition to our home security system. The picture is better than our Ring Doorbell, plus the added feature of two floodlights offers a little extra security and convenience. Like other Ring products, the camera is motion activated and you can set the sensitivity as well as the motion detection zone, making it easy to customize the camera to your needs. The camera and lights are adjustable and can be rotated to point in different directions -- neither can be controlled remotely, but that's not a big deal for us.
Installation took about 30 minutes, start to finish. My husband is a fairly advanced DIYer, but even if you're not, the instructions were very clear and everything you need to install the unit (including a multi-tool) comes in the box. The step-by-step instructions really lay out how to replace an existing flood light in a way that's easy for anyone to understand.
Once the camera is mounted, it's easy to set up. We already had a Ring doorbell and a Ring account, so I just logged into my app and scanned the QR code on the box. The rest of the setup pretty much did itself in just a couple minutes (including time for the camera to update). Once it was set up, I tried it out. The picture is very clear and I'm extremely happy with this addition to our home security team.

good floodlight came to have
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This floodlight cam is all good after you installed it. However, it took me a while to decide where to install it. Since it has to be wired into the wall, I have no way to turn it on and check out how wide the camera view is before installing. I was debating between install it in front of the garage or front entrance. Since I have to drill a hole and run the wire from the power box, it would be really helpful if they floodlight cam have a battery operated option for me to just turn the cam on and decide where I want to put it. Anyways, I ended up putting it in front of the garage, it's all good now.

Easy to install and configure

I was super happy to learn that, just like my Ring doorbell, this light was super easy to install. In all, it took me about 15 minutes to remove the light fixture I'd had in place before, wire, and attach the Ring floodlight, and it looks great. Even better, the "process" of adding it as a device in my Ring app honestly could not have been any easier. With the ease of use, and now the video quality I've come to expect from Ring, I sure know I'll be going with them for my next home security upgrade!

The best!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this floodlight camera for the bank area of my house, it is the best.. I previously had simplisafe but when I learned RING offers the same thing as simplisafe at half the price I switched, it was the best decision I could ever make as far as home security.. I have 2 out door cameras, 3 indoor cameras, 2 keypads and meant sensors from ring. They are great, I will be a long time customer with Ring.
Installation is easy to do your self through the instructions and videos. I installed all of my stuff and maybe an hour. Their customer service is great, very helpful and quick at answering the phone and not being put on hold.
The system has away, disarmed, and home. If you have the paid subscription and you have your device in away and your alarms go off the police do come to your house to make sure everything is ok with you and your property. I also love how easy it is to work the system on your phone through the app.
Trust me if your thinking of trying Ring, do it!! You will be happy you did. They get 5 stars at everything from me

Great edition to my Ring doorbell

Perfect security camera

I started researching and found RING.. Easy installation, Easy to download the ring app and set up. My favorite feature about this is when someone steps in the yard the flood lights automatically come on and it records everything! It also has a two way talk & the camera quality is great. If you have an alexia it also works with her & it also has dark mode so you can still see at night on it.

Great outdoor security camera with floodlight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the device we have been searching for. We have flood lights outside and also a security camera but this Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is the perfect combination of both devices.
The quality of the device is pretty nice and it was fairly easy to install. What I really like about it is that everything can easily be controlled from the application. The motion detector works flawlessly and every time someone triggers the detector, the camera starts recording and inform us immediately on the phone.
The LED lights are pretty bright and provide enough lightning to our patio and actually really helps the delivery guys who come late in the evening when it is already dark outside.
Overall, I am very pleased with this Ring floodlight camera combo. It is nicely built, works great and gets a perfect rating from me.
