Like the on demand aspect of it but it’s limited on how hot the water gets, it also takes time for the hot water to get to the faucet. We’ve had it about 10 months so far and it doesn’t meet my expectations. I wish there were a way to raise the temp of the water.

Overall I love having continuous hot water on demand. However, users must be patient as it can take 30 seconds or longer to reach temperature. I've had 2 units over the past 22 years. The first one failed after 18 years and it wasn't a pretty flood, so be mindful where you install the unit. Another thing to know is your vendor can install the unit but may not be certified to connect the unit to the plumbing system. Before you proceed, ask the installer if a plumber is also needed to complete the full install.

We installed this unit several months ago replacing an aging tank that couldn't keep up with filling the bathtub. Now we have endless hot water which can be in several areas at one time.

This is our first "on demand" water heater. We are very pleased and impressed as to how quickly it warms the water, delivers it to faucet, and never runs out! Multiple faucets can be open, and it responds by heating even harder to provide everyone with hot water.

Our Rinnai on demand hot water heater was easy to install, is well made and working beautifully.

As water heater it appears to work fine, but there is not a bug screen on the vent. Within the first 3 months mud dobbers got into the unit and built several nests. They clogged up the airflow and shut down the unit. It took a couple of hours to disassemble it and clear out the nest.

This is a great Rinnai!! This is my second Rinnai. This one is even quieter than the first one. Rinnai is a great product which can’t be beat! Quick hot water and as much as you want!! Can’t beat it!!

My first unit lasted 11 years and that’s twice as long as any tank heater I have had in the 32 years I’ve owned my home.

It was very easy to install. It provides plenty of hot water to meet my families demands. I have had the Tankless Water Heater for several months.

Sent the wrong one. Returned it to nearest store for credit, ordered again and the right one was received 3 days later. Installed it and it works great. Thank you

I recommend having a certified plumber install it so your warranty isn’t voided. This has been the best investment I’ve made in our home. Rinnai was a brand I’d heard good things about and I’m not disappointed. I love that I’m saving money and that my teen son can shower to his heart’s content.

Size, no rust in product, hot water only when I turn on the hot water spigot.

changed out our old hot water tank for Rinnai tankless system. Takes up very little space on the wall in the closet and we hardly notice it running. I like that when we travel we can turn it off so it doesn't use any energy.

New on demand 8 months , working good, replaced one that worked like a champ for little over 20 years. Grown kids (girls) like coming home just to take showers, can’t take long showers at their houses with out running out of hot water.

We bought 2 Rinnai water heaters for our new house build. We love them. They don’t take up much room and there is always hot water!

Easy install, great performance. We have 2 Rinnai demand water heaters and wouldn't do without them.

It is a great unit delivering instant hot water / however, do not forget the water still has to travel the distance from the unit to the sink thru tepid or cool pipes so it may take a bit for the water to get hot. Great thing is it is a consistent HOT once it reaches temp! My except comes from using it with a well system and shower heads that are the water conserving type. Even with the unit's "kick on volume" turned down as LOW as it will go a single show will not draw enough water to keep it running and you can get a cold splash mid shower. To be fair, we have yet to follow up with customer service on this issue and have solved it by removing the shower restrictor device or keeping a bathroom facet running while showering. (this however defeats the purpose of water conservation)

Works great. Never ending hot water and doesn't use a lot of propane.

I've had Rinnai for almost 6 months and been quite satisfied with its performance. It can supply hot water at a very stable temperatures regardless of the volume.

First time tankless water heater owner. We have had the unit for 6 months and so far I am pleasantly surprised about how energy efficient it is and that it keeps up with demand. In a household with teenage boys the hot water is always flowing.

This is our 2nd unit. Had to replaced the 1st one after 4 years. We followed the care instructions, in fact we flushed the unit 4 times more often than it suggested. Plumber said it was the cleanest unit he had ever serviced. Rinnai would NOT cover it under warranty, because we are on a well. The unit works great until it doesn’t

Always had a hot water heater so no previous experience with a tankless water heater. Takes a while for water to heat after turning on hot tap but once water is hot it continues for as long as needed.

The on demand hot water is great. We have had it now for about 6 months.

Our Rinnai has been fantastic in saving money on electric bill. I like that it is so energy efficient using propane at a minimal cost. We have had it a little over a year. The only thing I dislike is the amount of time it takes for the hot water to travel from the garage where located to the master bath at the far end of the house.

Water Heater works as advertised. It has been on operation for about 1 year now.

I had the unit installed in my addition in October 2022. Some may not be able to handle the delay since Hot water isn't instantaneously at the faucet. I was aware of this and may be able to be eliminated if recirculation is utilized with the unit. After the wait, I'm elated that I now have an endless supply of hot water vs. 50 gallons. In addition, I didn't have to upgrade my electrical service by adding another hotwater heater for the addition to my home.

We installed and use two different Rinnai heaters, one upstairs and one downstairs, for ten years. And have recently installed a large Rinnai tankless water heater to replace a thirty-year-old electric tankless water heater. Rinnai products continue their excellence in economic/efficient performance, use, and dependability. We are glad that they are available in our world of increasing expenses.
