paint came right off plastic
Paint was applied and cured for 24 hours, we moved the plastic play kitchen indoors, and the paint was already starting to come off. I would not recommend for use on plastic surfaces

The Painter’s Touch 2X paint was applied and cured for 24 hours, it scratched off while carrying the play kitchen indoors, would not recommend

What a mess this sputtering has made
I followed the instructions carefully and shook vigorously for three minutes. I sanded, cleaned then sprayed this paint on a bathtub faucet (espresso color). Looked at the result-”is this paint textured?”. It’s not it just came out like that.
Adhered well so I went ahead and sprayed the bath faucet/fixture.
I shook the can plenty, once again, and it came out clumpier than ever. Intermittently, clear spray was coming out of the can.
The thing I was spraying was dripping. What a mess.

Not the color on the lid poppy red satin
I bought 5 cans of 2x poppy red satin to paint the rear of my car . It was clean sanded and wiped down with 91% alcohol . It came out a pinkish orange color

The color if terrific but the cans tips are always...
The color if terrific but the cans tips are always clogging up on me and I have to clean them with mineral spirits to use up the whole can. Frustrating. Here is the wooden sleigh I just made yesterday with it.

Solid.
I had a vintage vinyl beach chair that I’ve wanting to change the color of it. I googled can I spray paint a vinyl beach lounge chair. It said to use paint + primer spray paint. Bought two cans. I only needed a little bit, it went a long way. It came out amazing.

Stopped working
I used less than 25% of this product and it stopped spraying. Very disappointed. Would really have liked to finish my projects!!

We want to try to help, Kathleen! It sounds like the nozzle was clogged. Inside each can of Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint is a dip tube that pulls the paint from the bottom of the can to the tip. If the pigment in the paint is too big or if there's not enough pressure behind it, it can get stuck in the tube or tip and the paint won't spray. This is why it is essential that the can is shaken for a full minute before each use and shaken often during application to prevent the pigment from settling. Try turning the can upside down and spraying for a few seconds. If the clog is in the tip, soaking it in mineral spirits should clear it out.

I like this clear gloss use it all the time on the things that need it when I make stuff in the wood shop. Goes on easy and looks great.

Great product
This is a nice clear coat with a nice finish. I had a difficult project trying to match the color and finish of very old ceramic tiles in a bathroom. I could not find epoxy paint in a matching color so I sanded as much of the gloss off the tiles and sprayed with Rustoleum paint and clear coated with this paint. My only suggestion is to m
let the colored paint dry completely (possibly days) before applying the clear coating. And spray in several coats as to not make the paint bubble. Tiles are not the best product to apply paint on, however this paint did stick.

Give your paint something to hold on to!
Worked great to prep a toilet tank lid for paint - then applied two coats of paint, and 5 coats of Rust-Oleum gloss clear coat - it all came out spectacularly well!

Nice color
This paint color we used to repaint a full size metal bed frame and the color was something like a gun metal color and one can of paint was enough to change the color and its been a week and paint is holding up and i dont see any scratches yet. Good coverage , little pricey but you get what you pay for

Great color
This paint we used to paint some picture frames for my daughter's bedroom. The paint color went well with the rest of the room. Spray was even and it dried fairy quickly. I was able to set the picture in within 30mins

Good coverage
I bought this paint for a project that my wife had done on a cnc machine outvof wood andbshe used this paint to paint, one coat was enough and didn't use any sealer or primer. Worked just as needed.

Money well spent

Great Paint For Bumper Or Grill!
I used this paint to coat my Ford F150 Bumper prior to the Oxford White covering. This made my truck color Oxford White go further due to the bumper being white. Goes on easy and has a bright white color!

Exploding cans
Be careful out there when using their products. I had mine blow the bottom of the can off and nearly took my face off. Rustoleum is denying having any responsibility. The can was purchased barely an hour before using it.

Peels off easy. Second coat pulls off the first.
Tried using on wood. First coat applied okay. Second coat as well. Tried to do a few touch ups the next day and every time I do the paint separates. Will not buy again.

Let's talk about this! Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint should be recoated within 1 hour of the previous coat or after 48 hours has passed. If you recoat before the first application of paint has skinned over and begun to dry to the touch, the two coats will dry correctly. However, if recoated at the wrong time, it may wrinkle blister or crack, which sounds like what you are experiencing. Simply put, to apply a second coat, the first coat must be very dry or very wet - never in between. To fix this, try sanding the surface, wait 48 hours and apply again.
