I purchased this to paint a dresser. I was expecting black, however after mixing the paint and painting it turned out an ashy navy blue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rust-Oleum Cabinet Transformations Basics in Linen White goes on easily and has a beautiful, durable finish. I watched the official rust-oleum how to video on YouTube first then followed their directions exactly. Degreased, primed with Zinsser, and painted. I’m so impressed with my own work and the cabinet transformations really does let you transform your cabinets, leaving you with a professional, durable finish. Super happy we painted our old, dated oak cabinets. Oh, I’ll also say that the color on the can makes it look almost a creamy yellow white but the finished product looks like a really soft neutral white.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The paint soaked right into the wood. Definitely needed 2 coats. Luckily 1 can was enough, even though some of it dumped during the shipping process. I also used Old English furniture touch up to add a bit of distress.

I'm not a very handy person, so before I go for the big stuff, I decided to transform my aquarium cabinet. I was a bit challenged with opening the gallon container, my husband introduced me to Mr. Screwdriver, and I can now open and close the cans without supervision. Thus far, I have transformed the doors to the cabinet. They truly look awesome. Next, I'll finish that cabinet. I plan on moving into my master bath for my next transition. Who know I could be so handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this paint to update my old brown kitchen cabinets. I did lightly sand them even though it’s said I didn’t have to. I also used wood filler to even out some parts of the cabinet that were chipped or dented. I used a degreaser before I did my sanding. Of course I had to remove all the cabinets and the hardware and I filled in all the holes. I then started painting. It took a few coats to get a nice even look but they turned out great. I used a topcoat also. All in all this was a very time consuming project but well worth it in the end to give my kitchen an affordable facelift.

We were looking to upgrade the outdated wood stain on our basement kitchen weren’t sure if a color was right for us. The white gave us more of a blank canvas to decorate the rest of the kitchen with other colorful items. Easy to apply and easy to clean up!!

I just had to use a deglossing solution on the cabinets to prep and they were ready to paint. The paint goes on smoothly and really gave my cabinets a beautiful new appearance. Very happy with the result.l

They were a dark brown before and now they are the most beautiful white. Non of the brown shoes through this paint at all! It’s also really easy to wipe down and clean. Would definitely recommend

This paint worked very well at covering the imperfections in our cabinets. Our cabinets needed 3 coats to cover, so with the drying time, took longer than we expected. The cabinets are in a home we are using for a short-term rental, so we are waiting to see how the paint will hold up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this to redo my kitchen cabinets and I absolutely love it, it holds up well and hasn't peeled or scuffed. Please go by directions and clean your cabinets very good, watch videos on utube like I did before trying your first time. It's easy once you understand what you are doing. I trust it so much and absolutely love the out come I got another gallon to redo our camper cabinets. It's cold weather and damp so this will be a springtime project. I highly recommend this. If I can do this anybody can, trust me, you will love it.

The paint is Terrible there isn’t a shine

it Turns out dark.blue. nothing like photo. i wanted something lighter in color. It drys dark blue nothing like color like picture

Color is not black but a dark charcoal. Does not self level very well especially since it is cabinet paint. The price good.

Horrible product. After cleaning and prepping surface, the paint would bubble, and drip real bad. We primed the entire stir face and sanded so the primer had a finished surface, to better allow for a clean paint job, but this paint could not be sanded to get a furniture finish look. This was a lot more work than had I just sanded down to wood, and used krylon or restoleum spray paint. I ended up destroying my vanity, and buying a new one. The cost of a new vanity was far less than the cost of using this and then fixing it when factoring in all the extra labor.

It is very poisonous. Didn’t finish the job and still very sick

Would give 0 stars I ordered black and they send me dark gray… I’m so furious because I’m trying to get my kitchen cabinets done before my daughters Birthday…😡😡😡😡

Can be streaky takes about 3-4 coats for best results.
