I followed a YouTube tutorial to change my mantle from an orange color to a wood stained look using this glaze. It was so easy and came out great!

This was so easy to use and we love how it turned out on our kitchen cabinet door’s. If I wasn’t happy with the way one turned out I was able to wipe it down and start over before it dried. This is a wonderful product and I definitely would recommend.

My painted white cabinets just needed a little time, enter java glaze.. it turned out great, added that little bit of rustic I was looking for.

This glaze was so workable. I glazed over matte and satin paint that I used to create a faux wood grain on my table. I painted it in sections with a chip brush and wiped it all off with a microfiber towel. The places that didn’t take as much warmth as I would have liked, I simply took my brush with barely any glaze on it and added some extra glaze. It worked way better than expected after reading some of these reviews. I want to glaze everything now!

I use this product to refinish furniture/doors/cabinets. I learned by using the rust-oleum cabinet transformation kit but have expanded my usage to doors/furniture/cabinets. By using the glaze over two coats of paint, it gives furniture/doors etc. a depth that just painting cannot give. Using cheese cloth to wipe off glaze takes practice but the end product is great. I have probably gone through 10 cans of glaze over the years redoing every cabinet/door in both of my houses. I teach friends how to do this method.

The product was great just took a bit to get the hang of it. Used it over chalk paint and it went on SO dark but thinned it a bit with water and worked great got a beautiful antique look.

Used a foam brush to apply to a white painted fireplace mantel. Used cheesecloth to wipe off to desired finish. Let dry. Perfect color control.

Use this all the time for antiqueing glaze on my distressed painted pieces. Love it!

Actually went on the painted surface thicker than I had expected and stayed on well until rubbed/ragged off. I have worked with other products that were difficult to keep enough on a vertical surface in order to get the desired amount of glaze. This product worked great. Allows for a little or as much glaze as one would want to stay on a painted surface. We wanted a heavily glazed finish so we left a lot on. You need to get it ragged off pretty quickly because it does dry quickly. The quick dry is an advantage in the end but it does require that the working area glazed not be too large at one time. Work a small area each time, move on to the next, and the outcome will be perfect! Clean-up was easy.

Oh my gosh this stuff is flippin' amazing! I have an old trunk that I painted but it was too bright. I bought this stuff based on the other reviews and I can't say enough great things!

Rust-Oleum Transformations Java Brown Cabinet Decorative Glaze worked well for my furniture project. I applied it over latex paint and wiped it off until I had the look I wanted. After it cured I noticed some areas that I missed, and I was able to add more glaze. A coat of polycrylic sealed it nicely. Cleaning my hands was easy with soap and warm water. I didn't try to clean the cloths. The quart size is way more than I needed for the lingerie chest. I will be refinishing a five drawer chest with it soon, and there will still be more than half of it left. I have used other brands of glaze and this measures up just fine. Definitely recommend.

I was looking for distressed kitchen cabinets and couldn't find what I wanted for less than a small fortune. Finally bought "off-white" painted maple cabinets hoping to distress myself. I tried this product after looking at pictures. Amazing! No sanding, etc. Just paint on, wipe off. Looks just like pictures. Easy, cheap, and great look!

Like the product, color is great and super easy to work with. Got the perfect natural look for a painted dresser!!!

I used this product to achieve a certain paint finish made popular by an upscale home furnishings and decor retailer. I was very happy the glaze provided enough open time that I could work with all of the brushes necessary to get the look. Fantastic product and I will use it again.
