Easy to cut and shape. If you need fire brick, consider this product.

Exelent customer service at Home Depot,very happy with my purchase.

They were slightly thicker than 1.25, which caused an issue when placing into my woodstove insert. Had to chisel/file a couple down to size. Didn't have this issue last time I ordered these years ago. I give these a five, but it was quite pain to resize. Hopefully next time I order in future they exact or slightly smaller.

Replacement brick for lining the firebox in a fireplace insert. These are the heavier weight bricks and match what my manufacturer used. Excellent replacement for a dropped, cracked brick.

Ordering was easy, the price was inexpensive, and the shipment was received in a timely manner. The bricks were all packed securely; not a one was broken or chipped. The size was exactly as indicated, and they fit my fireplace insert perfectly, without any additional materials.
