The lingering scent a month later is my only concern. Hopefully it will dissipate eventually.

Thank you for your review. Generally new rugs emit an odor. This should only be of a new rug smell. Usually airing out the rug in a well ventilated area for a few days solves the issue. If you feel that the odor does not go away, then we recommend contacting the retailer for a replacement, return, exchange, or refund.

Great rug, as pictured. It had a slightly unpleasant smell at first, but that went away with airing out the room. Very soft and nice colors, would recommend!
