We wanted to shift to a gas range. I up-sold us as soon as I saw this unit. Initially it was just the setting on the front to proof bread. I bake but enjoy a cool house, so this was a great feature for me. But then, when I looked at the specs and saw convection type oven, I was sold. It is not a true convection with heated air blowing in, but the fan circulates the air with great results so far. First I made a batch of croissants, since some sourdough rounds, baguettes and also baked chicken with beautiful crispy skin.
The stove top is a great working surface, we've made hotcakes on the griddle, speed boiled pasta on the fast burner, and put French onion soup to simmer on the ultra low.
In short, if you enjoy cooking this range will keep making it fun for you!

Only started using this stove 10 days ago, but so far I've been very happy with it's performance. The operation of the electronic panel is simple and easy to use. My favorite function is the 17K BTU front burner output making quick work of getting things up to heat quickly and the 5K BTU simmer burner in the rear is awesome as well.

Great range with convection oven. First convection oven I have owned and I would never go back. The 5th burner has been great for pancakes and burgers. Comes with non stick griddle I think I would have preferred cast iron but I will see how long the non stick holds up.

Bought this range in November of 2016. Been happy with the operation. However don't let something fall through the holes in the oven bottom and get next to the burners. Not dangerous, but smokey. The reason I felt compelled to write this review was that the material that the control knobs are manufactured from, is weak, allowing cracks to form and the knobs to loosen. More concerning is the material is not stable and the chrome is starting to blister which at some point will flake and the sharp edges will cut like a sharp knife. It is happening to all 5 knobs. I called Samsung and was told that the warranty period has expired and a claim will likely be denied. The CS rep submitted one and would not transfer me to a supervisor. If I have to buy knobs, they won't be a Samsung part.

The range is really nice. The only reason I gave it four stars is because of the middle eye. It really can't be regulated. We followed the instructions and took the knob off to regulate it and it made no change. The flame stays the same whether on high or low setting.

Not a bad range for the price. There are a few quirky things about it, mostly to do with the oven controls. I found the controls to be not-so-intuitive. Also, when operating in convection bake mode, the fan only runs intermittently, it is very quiet though. I like the alarm that tells you the oven is preheated.
On the plus side, the cook-top is easy to disassemble, clean, and reassemble. All of the parts seem pretty heavy-duty too. Heat output is great on the burners and all can be well controlled from fill blast to slow simmer.

I have loved this unit since I got it. The griddle is an awesome addition, and you can cook straight cheese on it. The only issue, which it me it is a big one, is my grates are rusting. The enameled or whatever coating on the cooking grates have flaked off and there is only pitting and rust left in some areas. This is not a covered item, under the warranty. Other than that, the function is wonderful

Great range! Excellent temperature control and versatility, timing functions of the stove are easy and usefull the oven heats quickly and maintains temp beautifully, the ovens outside stays cool at even 500 degrees. And the price is, for this, so reasonable a great purchase in my opinion.

This stove met expectations. We had been cooking with electric for a few years and finally said time to go back to gas. Searched many different models and brands. This Samsung priced right for a base model with the sale at purchase point. It works well, had the propane conversion tech adjust low points when installed for true low when on low. Convection oven works great also. This one will work until kitchen makeover then it's a WOLF but until then this one serves the purpose and it looks good in the kitchen.

I have had this oven for about 6 months and LOVE it. The convection feature has changed after work cooking for me. Roasting meats is quick and easy (for me it cuts cooking time about 30-40%). And my husband says that the meat I cook via convection is the best he's had (I am a vegetarian so I can't vouch for this claim). Vegetables caramelize nicely and cook perfectly. The burners are perfectly spaced and the middle burner with griddle makes perfect pancakes. Cooktop is easy to clean. The oven interior is large and easy fits oversized cookie sheets. I have been able to have 4 different things cooking at once in it (combination of cookie sheets and baking dishes).

Using this product for less than a month and I cant get rid off cooking stains from the cooktop. I tried all cleaners. I used GE gas stove before for 10+ years and never had such issue. Cant believe its such a poor quality cooktop.

I can't rate this product because it was delivered with a gas leak. Samsung is making me wait 10 days to have a service technician EXAMINE it before they can even start the process of sending a replacement.
The leak is coming from the pressure regulator. If you look at the attached photo you will see what appears to be a black permanent marker line indicating an issue and sealant around it. It looks like this was a unit that actually had a problem identified (either by a customer or off the production line) and then was poorly fixed and delivered to me.
Now I'm left with a non-functioning kitchen for 2+ weeks.

We have had this gas range for about two months, and, as avid cooks, we use both the range and the oven very frequently. The oven heats very quickly and holds the temp setting well; the range units offer a wide range of temps from hard boiling to keeping food warm; the fifth burner is a wonderful feature; and the range top is very easy to keep clean. Negatives? None, so far! We really love this stove. And it's visually attractive to boot!

Note that b/c it is an all-gas range, if you are replacing a dual-fuel unit (as we were) the Samsung requires a regular 110v outlet-- it does not use a 220v outlet like a dual-fuel would.
Beware the "enameled" stove grates, however-- they are NOT enameled-- they are cast iron with a thin coat of black paint that does not even appear to be a baked finish--simply sprayed on. Our stove was delivered with two of the three grates already having peeling paint-- clearly a manufacturing defect (see photo). Samsung, however, as others have noted in their reviews, claimed this is "cosmetic" damage and hence warranty does not apply. I'm pushing back to say it is a defect... given I emailed them photos of it the day of delivery. We'll see. Very poor quality on the grates-- the part that is most obvious to every purchaser/user.

As far as quality and warranty repairs go, the manufacturer gets sub-par marks.
Less than a year after purchase, one of the control knobs inexplicably broke. Not bumped into, not mistreated, it simply snapped and quit. Samsung says they'll replace the knob.
About the same time as the broken knob, rust marks began appearing on two of the three cast iron cooking grates. It's obviously a manufacturing defect as the finish is flaking off. Samsung says that the rust is "caused due to maintenance" and not covered under warranty.
Maintenance. Seriously? Exactly how does one maintain a hunk of cast iron? I wipe up any spills and I remove the grills from the range and clean under them. Then I reinstall them. The same thing I've done to gas ranges for 40+ years and this is the first time I've had them rust.
Really disappointed that I have to either replace these or spend the time and effort to re-finish them. I'll probably re-finish them because why would I want to give Samsung more money?

I had purchased this range because I was redoing my kitchen with all new appliances and also purchased a refrigerator Samsung as well on July 4th sale had it delivered in August everything was going well until a couple of weeks ago the door on the inside screw that holds it together snapped I didn't think it was that big a deal because a company like Samsung would surely come out and fix it and boy was I wrong the unit is only 4 or 5 months old well from the start what a run around this company gave me they finally sent out a technician who looked at it and determined that it was damaged my 84 year mother was home as I had to work and she said he went outside didn't really discuss anything with her and made a phone call clearly anyone could see this bolt that holds the door together broke on the inside but this is a scam from there everything just got worse I spoke to people who are from different countries with the same robotic message the technician says it was damaged wrote to corporate won't know if they will help but I gave it a try stay away from Samsung products these people don't have any customer service skills and I feel like it's a scam

So far my roommates and I are very happy with this stove. The burners and griddle work well, and heat evenly. The auto-sparker start works well. We have not tried the convection fan yet, as we have only had it a few weeks. The oven did work great on bake and broil. I liked that the inside was very easy to see through the window when the light was on. The style and finish is really nice. I like the stainless steel. This 30 inch oven replaced a behemoth 40 inch electric from the '70's. So we have this gap on the side, I was thinking a storage trolley could go there, but we are very happy with the Samsung!

Good value. Great looking appliance. Flexibility with the center burner. Took 6 minutes to get to 350 degrees, yeah! My old stove was taking 25-45 minutes to do that. Very happy with purchase. Liked it so much, I decided to add in a matching Samsung microwave.

I have had the range for about 2 weeks. So far I love it. I love to cook and find the it easy to use. I have not yet tried the easy mode feature. The controls work smoothly. I really like the even top surface that prevents pots from tipping. Love the power burners and the low simmer settings.
It was delivered in packing that protected the unit. The instructions for propane conversion and installation were very clear and easy to follow..
We also purchased an over the range Samsung Microwave. Love it too!
Great appliance and great price for anyone who cooks. Looks great too.

Love this range! It's a huge upgrade from our 10 year+ GE range. It's like having a much larger range in our smaller space. Easy turn/quick burner ignition with large aluminum dials (not plastic). Wide, powerful burner flame. Great burner/range top layout for maximizing the space. Roomy oven area that heats to 400 in about 5 mins. Easy-to-understand digital oven controls.
