I purchased this unit as a replacement for an absorption refrigerator in my Class A RV. It is a near perfect fit after removing the elevated platform on which the old unit was installed. I am pleased with the unit and although I have only had the Samsung for about a month, I would rate the unit as 5 Stars in storage capacity, cooling efficiency, insulation, and appearance.

This fridge has become a favorite in our household. It reached ideal temperature settings within a few hours, and we've been pleased. My only complaint would be that the left door doesn't always close with finesse, so we have to be sure that it's closed or we're reminded with a chime. Other than that, all is well thus far.

We have only had the fridge about three weeks but so far we love it. It is counter depth which is perfect for our small kitchen. The smaller freezer may be an adjustment and we may end up getting a small freezer for the basement since we are Costco shoppers and like to load up. We felt $997 was a really great price for a french door fridge. Since we were replacing a 30 plus year old cream colored fridge with brown handles....this one is beautiful compared to what we had!

Nice looking refrigerator. Picked it for narrower width and depth and needed French door style because of opening constraints. It's a lot of refrigerator for the small space. Came with an ice maker which works great. 5 stars for this price point and meeting my needs.

We purchased the Samsung RF18 for a "built-in" installation due to it's quite compact design / dimensions. Also had several people recommend the specific unit for this type installation. We're very pleased with the aesthetics; look, finish, interior lighting, but only time will tell how durable it is "tightly" installed as we have done.

Do not buy this fridge. I just spent several hundred dollars getting it repaired because ice built up on the coils due to faulty sensors, and its less than a year and a half old.

it is exactly what I wanted perfect size. I had a small space and this fit just right. the Fridge on top is good and the bottom freezer works well for us! Its quiet too.

It's counter depth and fit into my space perfectly. The roomiest smaller sized refrigerator that I could find. It works great and looks good. I have had it for about 2 weeks and I am very satisfied with how cold it keeps the food. The delivery guys were very careful and awesomely nice. I am very happy and it fully meets my expectations. .

Not the normal use, but I put this in our motorhome to replace a defective Propane/Electric-type RV fridge. A fellow RVer had done the same with the same fridge. Paid a bunch for professional installation. Because it's only 24" deep with doors off and drawer out, it fit right through our door, although Home Depot delivery refused to even try. Width and depth were perfect, but had to do some cabinet modification for the height. Bolted it down through the provided front leveling brackets. Works great & gained 50% more space. Love it. Only challenge will be the few days we're on the road without shore power - and securing the doors and drawer against unwanted opening.

My wife and I have been wanting a new Black fridge to go with the decor in the kitchen for ages. Most of the time when we were looking i could tell the other fridges would not fit in the opening, (this is an older house and has a funky set up where the fridge goes). Saw this one online and measured the opening numerous times to make sure. When it arrived I was impressed at how well built it looks. The hookup for the ice maker was easy and it is much quieter than I figured it would be. So far after a week or so, it is doing everything I hoped it would. The price was good also. I would say that if you have kids and don't want fingerprints on it, this is not for you. I like the finish, it shines nicely and adds a decadence to the kitchen now. Thanks Home Depot!

Delivery was convenient and completed on time. The refrigerator is installed in an RV as a replacement for a double-door 110v/propane unit. The setup works wonderfully and gives us much more room than the previous unit. With the low current draw it is an excellent choice for our needs. The unit itself is rock solid on temperature and the ice maker is a great addition to our setup. Very happy with the purchase.

Do love it... Although if you are looking for more space, I must be missing something, because I cannot even put the milk container after sliding the tray over to either side. I had to still keep my old refrigerator for additional drinks space, etc.

I purchased this model as I wanted a counter depth refrigerator for my small condo and did not have the full 36" width that the typical models require. It has been installed and working great for almost 2 weeks now. The layout of the refrigerator and freezer is great considering the overall size and depth. The ice maker did take awhile to make the initial batch of ice, but it seems to work well. Overall, I am very pleased with my new Samsung appliances and the "Black Friday" pricing during the month of November was fantastic!

Fits perfect into our small kitchen, I like the french doors and interior lightening, makes it easy to locate food, this is a perfect size for a small family. overall 5 stars

We had trouble finding a french door style refrigerator for the space we had- I found this guy by searching by the width we needed on the home depot website and it's perfect! It fits really well and looks beautiful. Sometimes it doesn't close all the way which would be my only complaint- but it beeps at you to tell you it's still open which is a very cool feature! I would definitely recommend this product!

I love the bottom freezer. I am fairly tall and bending to get to the refrigerator part with the old fridge was uncomfortable. The loss of a star is because there are only a few adjustment spaces on the sides of the refrigerator to move the shelves to where they accommodate your food sizes. Also the door shelves are the same way - only a few adjustment spaces. I removed the butter keeper because I needed space for taller items on the door shelf below the butter keeper.

I purchased this for my tenants. I needed something that could fit a really specific space. I called Home Depot and the staff was really helpful. I ended up finding this model myself. It was delivered exactly as promised and my tenants are thrilled. I did the research and purchase within a few hours of learning my old refrigerator was failing on a Sunday evening and it was delivered within 4 days and fits the space perfectly.

I was so happy to finally find a counter depth refrigerator that fit my weirdly designed kitchen. It cools great and has plenty of room for our needs. The ice maker is a little noisy, but not so much that it bothers us. We've only had it for a few weeks, but so far we're very happy with it. The only thing I wish were different is the top. I've always kept things on the top of my refrigerator that wouldn't fit on my counters or in my cabinets (like my knife sets, large pots or pans, etc) and I can't do it with this one because the top is not flat. Other than that, it's great!

There are no cool bells and whistles in this fridge but it is a solid purchase. The main things I like about it are that it is counter depth so when you open it you can see the back of the fridge easily. There isn't any place for food to hide and be forgotten. What it is lacking in depth it makes up for in height. It's taller than normal. Again, I like that. Not bending over as much to see everything. Freezer on the bottom helps with that too. At 17.5cuft it is smaller than a lot of families have and I was a bit concerned that it would be too small but it isn't at all. The way the fridge is laid out there is room for everything. No drink dispenser but we weren't looking for one. Does have a good ice maker though which can be attached to a filter. The only thing that troubles me is that all the items in the freezer including the inside of the freezer itself have a thick layer of frost on them. And the freezer door gets condensation on it when it is humid out. That's weird. Samsung tech came out and changed the gasket but that didn't change the condensation. I don't actually see a big problem with this but I wonder about the energy efficiency and if there is a problem with the compressor.

After searching and searching for a counter depth option that would provide maximum storage I came across the Samsung French Door. It is well designed and works perfectly for our needs. Great purchase.

This is a beautiful refrigerator! I like the power freeze option and the power cool also. There is room for milk, juice, etc.in the doors but not really on the shelves. You can not adjust the shelves enough to accommodate tall items but it has plenty of room. The ice bin is located in the top drawer of the freezer and it takes a couple of days to fill after install. You can adjust the fridge to its lowest temperature which is 34 and the freezer to-2. I purchased this refrigerator because I needed one to fit a customized space (33in wide)around my cabinets and this was the only one I could find. But it is a quality refrigerator for the price.

The handle on the freezer broke after only 6 days. Samsung will not repair or replace at their cost because they say it is a physical issue. Actually, a working handle on the freezer is essential to the function of the appliance. Unfortunately, after one week and over 20 calls and emails, Samsung will not budge. I am very disappointed and will never buy another Samsung product again.

My Samsung refrigerator died--completely died--after less than three months in use. It began running loudly one day, then lost all cooling in the refrigerator and freezer the next. But what made matters far worse was Samsung's deplorable customer service, followed closely by Home Depot's indifference. It took more than 15 calls over a one month period for Samsung to issue a refund. (The photo attached is the one they required me to send as a condition of the refund showing that I had cut the power cord.) Even then, Samsung refused to refund my sales tax, and it took another month to persuade Home Depot to make me whole. Advice: stay away from this product.

Coming from using a much larger fridge, this one takes some getting used to. The shelves are low so some stuff doesn't fit, but it still holds a lot of food. The freezer holds a great deal of food as well, but again it's a learning process on how to stack and load the new fridge compared to my old one that I'd had for nearly 25 years. My only gripe is that it did not come with an egg storage container. I had to use my old one. All in all it's a good fridge, keeps food cold and fresh.

First off, if I had seen the actual product instead of a picture, I would never have purchased it because the stainless is shiny instead of a dull brushed finish like my other stainless appliances. However, I am happy I did purchase it. My old GE fridge was a stainless french door, attractive, but would not keep the temperatures steady and we had already paid $800 in repairs over 4 years trying to remedy that. Lost a lot of food. I wanted a new fridge that looked as good but it had to fit in the space in my kitchen - very limited size. I found this Samsung that was the right depth, right width (very important) but was too tall. The price was a few hundred less than all others that would fit, so I had the upper cabinet removed and bought this one. I knew it was 5 cu ft smaller than my last one but, I swear, there seems to be more room in the fridge. The freezer is smaller but still holds tons of food. Since the day I bought it, the temp has not varied even one degree in either the fridge or freezer. Since I have cathedral ceilings and had used the top of my cabinets to hold my (hundreds of) cookbooks, I had a handyman build a shelf across where the cabinet was taken down. It all works, and I am very happy with my purchase. (In the photos, the glare is from the sun shining through the window which is right next to the fridge).

I had been pining for a counter depth fridge for our tiny 1950's kitchen for a long time as a way to open up our kitchen without renovating the whole thing. This Samsung fridge has changed my world. Our old fridge was in the middle of the kitchen and stuck out a foot farther than the counters - It was ridiculous. This one only sticks out about 1-2 inches (not including the handles) - Pretty much the same as my stove. It also saves on space by also having french doors (My old fridge had a traditional door). And the interior is beautiful!

We needed a 33" wide, counter depth fridge, with french doors, but no water in the door. There are surprisingly few options out there. This refrigerator, looks good, it is super quiet and fit our criteria. However, this fridge would only be good for a single person or a couple. It's way too small for a family. There are very few adjustments to the shelving and you really can't put anything tall anywhere except the door. There is no split shelf option and the sliding deli compartment feature is not worth the loss of an adjustable split shelf. This inability to customize the interior spaces really disappointed us.

I wanted a 33" french door fridge that is counter depth. This is pretty much it. It had good ratings and the price was decent. Here are a few pros: It looks great, it's very quiet, and the counter depth look works great in my tight kitchen. Cons: It's small, just 17.5 Cu ft. That's ok, but I could get more in it if I could adjust the shelves and compartments. There are almost no shelf adjustments. There is no configuration that I can see that will give me a shelf height of more than 10". You get a 10, a 9 and a 7" shelf height. So the ONLY place to put a tall thing is in the door, and that's a small compartment. We had to get rid of our 18 cup Pur water dispenser because it just wouldn't fit anywhere. The deli compartment is also very tiny, and because it slides back a forth (which is cool) it is a fixed width shelf. I'm used to a split shelf where I could lower one half of the top shelf or raise it for odd items. The compartments in the door move slightly, but still very limited adjustments. Several people spoke in the ratings about the power plant on top of the fridge. We measured for it and are ok, but no one mentioned that between it and the large front hinge housing that there is no flat space on top of the fridge. Forget putting cereal or anything up there. I'm posting a pic for reference. Bottom line: This fridge will work for a single person or a couple, like us. But probably not a good solution for a family
