It was my ONLY option during COVID shopping. Lasted just a little shy of 2 years before it completely destroyed the plastic holding the weight to the machine. Samsung did not stand behind their machine at all. To add insult to injury, we went to 6 stores and nobody had anything in stock this time either. So I ended up with just a newer model of this crappy machine (WF45B6300AP) and it doesn't even match the dryer anymore (gray vs. black). We are storing this one for parts since they don't seem to last. My old machine, a Bosch, moved 6 times and lasted over 11 years.

For some reason there is no way to edit my previous review so I'm posting a new one. Since I got the washing machine, it produced a loud squealing noise whenever it was operating (usually loudest during the rinse cycle), coming from near the drain pump filter. Samsung customer care is awful which is mainly why this gets 3 stars instead of maybe 4 (originally 1). Getting them to send out a person to fix it was an ordeal. The repair guy came out, disassembled it, and left it disassembled for like a week or so while he waited for the new part (he replaced some part which was entirely unnecessary). Now that it's out of warranty and was still making the noise which was getting progressively worse, I finally decided to take the machine apart myself as a last ditch effort before just throwing it away. Getting the front panel off wasn't too bad just involved taking a lot of the machine apart. I knew the noise was coming from near the drain filter and would stop if I pressed down on it, so I started investigating there once the panel was off. It took all of 10 seconds to see what the issue was, and to confirm that the repair guy was an idiot. The drain pump sits on a kind of shock absorber system which has a rubber boot on each side that fits through the metal brace part the pump sits on. One of these boots was entirely below the metal part, not through it. So it was just metal on metal as evidenced by the pile of metal shavings. Taking the bolt out, pulling the rubber boot through, and then replacing the bolt made the action of the shock absorber going up and down smooth and quiet. Finally. So basically, when they assembled the machine, they didn't assemble it properly, the repair guy they sent was dumb, and only a hail mary yolo taking it apart myself approach was able to resolve the issue. A tiny little rubber boot caused so much annoying headache. So yeah, the machine is okay. Now that it's quiet I like the thing. Just their quality control and customer service are really, really bad. I should not have needed to deal with all this hassle for something as expensive as this. Hopefully it will last a while, but I have very, very low expectations at this point.

I haven't had this washer for 6 months yet and it is already broken to the point where it would be better to just buy a new washer from a different company. Ran great for about 2 loads and since then I have had nonstop issues with leaks, electrical shorts and violent shaking. I've done all the things any repair person on the internet suggested and it just keeps reverting to it's natural state as a very impractical bookshelf. For a while the inner drum was sparking against the door. Got that fixed, readjusted the legs again, good deal. I washed the last load I ever will in this machine today and the whole inner panel of the door shattered and sliced my poor clothes to shreds. Please do yourself a favor and buy literally anything that is not this.

The drum paddle came off just after 1.5 years of use, very poorly built.

I purchased this w/d set along w/ the Allstate protection plan. Complete waste & rip off. My washer was deemed unfixable after the weights ripped out probably from the insurance forcing me to self diagnose & repeatedly running the machine despite me telling them it was getting worse. I’m told no replacement available & they’ll only refund amount paid which a year ago was $778 and now $1200. Allstate said so sorry. That's what the plan allows. Shame on Samsung for not replacing their broken item.

Awesome washer and dryer combo! Looks and performs great so far. Easy to use and Home Depot delivered and set them up nicely.

i gave 2 stars because when it works it does a decent job. trouble on the first wash. door leaked during spin cycle. spin cycle made quite a bit of noise. door was replace by samsung service man. machine began making much more banging noise during spin cycle. 4 days later repair man comes out and says he's never seen this before. opens the top and finds the drum broken loose from top right mount. i'm still waiting for parts from samsung. samsung will not replace this defective machine. pretty crappy for a high end machine.

The Samsung 7.5 cu. ft. Fingerprint Resistant Black Stainless Electric Dryer with Steam Sanitize+, ENERGY STAR, Fingerprint Resistant Black Stainless Steel is a definite upgrade to what we used to have. There is no longer need to run the dryer 2-3-4 times just to make sure our clothes are dried. It's easy to run, no static, and my clothes are smelling fresh. Having 2 - 10yr old cats and 2 - one year old dogs, messes are a necessary evil. I can through the clothes in the washer, then into the dryer and not worry about anything smelling gross or still soaking wet. I love the steam & sanitize+. I've used the options a few times already to freshen up clothes that have been in the closet for too long. While fingerprints aren't a problem, the machine scratches so easily. I can't put a clothes basket on it without scratches showing up.

Delivery services were full of excuses on why the crew was unable to install based on no available power cord. After walking down the laundry room, they really did have a 3 wire cable and begrudgingly moved the W/D set down the stairs to the laundry room and proceeded with a shoddy setup. Yes, it is realized that HD will do nothing with regards to this review to prevent this from happening to others and I will hear no response. This is the last large purchase I will make from HD. Lesson learned on large box stores.

Great washer. 2nd samsung washer I've had. Never any problems wifi enabled, so many modes you can wash on its crazy

I bought this set about 2 months ago and the washing machine exploded to piece on the inside and actually pushed the drum out of the door. It was a very small load of clothes! Definitely would not recommend to anyone! Called home depot because the warranty we bought said it was covered under store warranty and got put on hold and hung up on twice. Now they are closed and have to try calling back tomorrow.

Easy to use and works great!!

The installers removed my old broken unit and installed the new washing machine in my basement. It was quick and painless. The new unit has been in for 3wks now and doing its job. A load is quicker than my 10yr old system.

Super nice washing machine. It comes with Bixby assistant which I don't use often, but sometimes very useful to start something thru the system even if you're not home. The washer is big and good looking. Has lots of different programs.

The unit us attractive, and fingerprint resistant as promised. I appreciate that the door is easily reversible, and units could be stacked if desired.

The old Samsung said END when the wash was done.Lights blink when running, go out when done can not tell if clothes left in washer. If you leave the door open a little bit, so it will not mold, the door pops open six inches. Had to cut the little button so the door opens about 1 inch. This model is the closet model. Spins fast, clothes a lot dryer .Very quiet

Would recommend this washer because we had a house guest and they forgot to put the top on their red Sharpie pen and it leaked all over the guest bed. Washed it in the Samsung after a ten minute pre-treat with laundry soap and came out clean as new. Impressed with this washer because it is quick, quiet and efficient. Already recommended to a few friends, as I bought it because it was Samsung and you expect cool and great technology panel. Well, surprised as it was quiet, quick and took the red Sharpie out of the sheets and comforter - so kudos to Samsung Washer for doing an amazing job while looking cool and tech savvy. Thanks Samsung!!!

I love the washer. There are so many washing options which is great. I love being able to choose what I want for my clothes besides the size of the load and temperature. Personally I am now a front load fan. No more tip-toes to reach clothes in the drum of a top loader. Very high tech and I love monitoring the washers progress and stats via smartphone and wifi. A must have

First off this washer looks great with its finger print resistant body and stylish look. It brings a very fresh look to the laundry space. The design and usability of the products is commendable as well. Great user interface with the center dial selection and touch options. The machine is comparatively very quiet. So thumps up to all the things I care about in a washing machine!! My favorite function is it has a wash option for the whites and I have noticed my white clothes to be brighter and with less visible stain most likely because of its waterjet function. I am able to control my washes even when I am at work with the smart app feature in my samsung mobile. It works very smooth without any bugs. Highly impressed with these features. Both the washer and dryer plays music when the load is complete and my kids just love dancing to it. I would highly recommend this product to my friends and family!!

The fingerprint resistant coating is great for keeping things clean but one of the biggest design features that you get with the dryer is the ability to change the way the door opens. So if your door opens up and swings towards the left but you need it to swing to the right, you can simply remove a few screws and swap the entire door to the other side. It takes less than 10 minutes and can be done by yourself. Huge feature. The other life saving feature for me is the ability to use the steam sanitize and refresh cycles to help freshen up and de-wrinkle some of my shirts. In fact, i haven’t had the need to touch an iron after using these cycles. My clothes come out perfect with little to no wrinkles what so ever. This laundry is saving me loads of time on ironing. Speaking of time, i usually tend to forget about my clothes once i put them in washer or dryer and i cant tell you how many times i have had to re wash or dry my clothing but with the smart features and notifications that get sent your phone, that is no longer an issue. Being able to start and stop loads via the smart things app or by asking bixby has been a life saver and seeing how much time is left or getting a notification ensures that i never have to re wash or dry clothes ever again. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung definitely went big! This washer takes up the same amount of space as my old one, but can handle so much more – in the same amount of time. My last washer shook the whole second floor of our house, but I can't even tell this one is running. That’s where the SmartThings app has been so useful! It tells me when a load is done, because I forget about them, so I can keep the laundry going all day. Not only that, but you can schedule when things run so you can make sure you don’t come home to a stinky load of laundry. This has kept me from running the same load 2 and 3 times to get rid of the wrinkles again and again. The app also tells you when you should clean your drum, which was a huge concern of mine. Then you can run the automatic cleaning cycles and never have to worry again! There are so many presets built in, that you have a special setting for all of the important things you wash. Our last washer couldn’t handle our bedding, but this one does with ease- and it comes out smelling amazing – and you feel so much cleaner using the steam sanitize setting. Lastly, this washer looks amazing! Everyone thinks we have a spaceship for a washer, and then I get to show them how quiet it runs and how much it can handle and they are blown away!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer really exceeded my expectations! I upgraded my old Samsung washer with this one and I really did see the difference! I've been playing with the Smart features of it and oh boy, you would think on why you need a smart appliance? Well, I'll give you some of the reasons why: 1. It will tell you when your load is ready 2. You can customize the washing mode by type of clothes you are washing, YES! I said type, from shirts to jeans,socks, lingerie, waterproof clothing... And MANY more! No more going for the whites or normal cycle, now you'll take care of your clothes. 3. Reminders of when to clean the drum of your washer (which, I have to say, I was impressed there is no need to add washer cleaning tablets to it, while cleaning itself I saw soap foam inside which I did not know where it came from, at the end of the cycle the washer smelled clean, IMPRESSIVE! 4. You can do a diagnosis of the washer to check if anything is not working normally, really? Just wow... These are only a few of the things I've loved from my new washer. The capacity of it is also great! As you can see, showering a Frenchie has never been easier, which of course, he prefers to shower under the rain-shower :P. Also, the most important feature that sold me, Super Speed, it chops down the washing time of all of the loads without sacrificing the cleaning results, and I have to say, it really is true! So, if you are looking into buying a new set, or just feeling like upgrading to a smart laundry set, hands down I would DEFINITELY recommend this set.

The detergent drawer has different compartments and a max level so that you don't over fill. The cool part is the child lock feature and sanitize cycle which heats the water to 150° F to eliminate bacteria. There are so many cycles that you can personalize like the downloaded cycle which allows you to connect the washer to your phone through the smartthings app and you can choose other cycles like towels, wool and deep steam and more. The best thing about the washer is the cleaning power I had a pair of gray Jean's which had an oil stain that I thought would never get out and needless to say it got out, I am going to have fun using all of the features (most of them I have already used) and I can't wait for more clothes to wash.
