Why wasn’t self cleaning not an automatic option?
Purchased in 8/2021. It’s more of kitchen furniture as I don’t cook so I never had to clean it until now with recent holidays as family used it. I realized it was not self-cleaning!! Very odd to make a stove that doesn’t self clean.

    Do Not Buy Samsung
    On the 4th of July 2023, just 9 days days before the range was three years old, the oven stopped working. I had the igniter replaced at my own expense. On Christmas Day 2023 the oven again stopped working. It appears to be the igniter again. I will not replace the igniter every 6 months, or on every major holiday whichever comes first. I would rather replace this lemon with a non-Samsung gas range!

      Buy a better unit
      I bought this unit 2 years ago and while I like the look, it keeps breaking. It is located in a 2nd home and is used only 4-5 months out of the year. After ~4 months of use I had to replace the entire control panel (last Nov). This week I'm getting an error code (C-F2) which I think means I have to replace another cable. The burners work, but I can't use the oven as the control panel is malfunctioning.

        Electronics fail within 2 years, and Samsung says they will repair it for $444+ and then they never show anyway. I have now spoken to three people who had this same exact experience with this Samsung range. From researching it online, I am guessing that they have used one really shoddy component that then makes the whole oven unusable. (Until the electronics suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason, I loved this range.)

              I had to exchange this range for one with a convection oven. The manual for Samsung are horrible. The burners and oven wouldn't heat properly. Home Depo CA were GREAT. Samsung Very poor, hung up on me, on hold several times.

                We are very pleased this new Samsung stove, which was ordered to coordinate with the rest of our Samsung appliances. Perfect size, LOVE the integrated griddle, and will gladly use Home Depot again in the future for appliance removal/installation.

                            I don't want to go in details why I gave 3 stars but the quality is not that good as its brand name. One of the top grillers top part was broken, Poor quality of metal as far as I know. I plan to request as replace only of this part but I keep forgetting to bring it to the nearest store which is 20 mins. drive.

I did some research including the troubleshooting per Samsung protocol. That didn’t work. My intentions told me to order a control board and install it myself. Now it works perfectly as it should.
