Nightmare owning this product!
Warning! Avoid Samsung dryers. Mine has had 8 service visits in 4 weeks, but they won't replace it. Customer service ignores scraping tub issue and blames me for damage caused by their technician. Nightmare owning this for 4 weeks. Don't buy! Samsung lacks product support.

    Bought this unit and its matching washer dryer has failed in less then two months have requested warranty work they want to send someone 500 miles from boise Idaho to fix it will see how that pans out any way not a very good product by my opinion drum is banging against side of dryer case and howling in less then two months of very light use

      ONLY LASTED 6 MONTHS!
      Had this dryer about 6 months and looks like the heating element has already gone out. The quality these days has taken a drastic nose dive. Very disappointed. When it worked it was great but for it to go out after 6 months is unacceptable. We are going to go with a very basic dryer with no frills for the next one. I remember when those basic dryers would last forever.

        Needed service within the 1st 100 days.
        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all the features on my dryer. I did have to have it serviced within the first 100 days, one of the relays was stuck in the open position on the motherboard. The dryer would act like it was going to start but wouldn't fully start, it's just it kick started and did nothing. It worked a few times after unplugging and plugging back in before we were able to have a Samsung tech come out. Honestly very easy process, tech was great and got us taking care of. This is why it's a 4 star rating vs 5 star. No one wants to file a warranty claim after dropping cash like this on appliances. Zero hassle claim which was nice. Everything thing was covered under the first year warranty.

Although we are not a fan of sensor drying, we are finding that this dryer is doing a great job of drying our clothes. When we are drying thicker items like towels or jeans, we make sure to increase the sensor to maximum More Dry setting.

          Delivery is a NIGHTMARE -BEWARE
          (I'm not reviewing the product, only the delivery) Made the order, they arrive for delivery. Dryer was visibly broken on the truck, so we reschedule. Second time they come out, a week or two later they come with no washer or dryer, looking to install a stacking kit. Third time, they show up with ONLY the washer and no dryer. Now I am being rescheduled yet again. I will never use this service again or buy major appliances from home depot via delivery ever again. This is just crazy.

            The product is working great, but the installation services at Home Depot are terrible. Paid for installation and the installers wouldn't even take the dryer out of the box. Said they couldn't install it with our install kit from our old system. Was never asked if it was a stacking install. No refund.

              I have had this two weeks and the delivery people said that it takes a few loads to adjusts the belts and new machine smell. Well the smell subsided but it sounds absolutely awful when you start it … like an old car. After about 10 min it starts to lessen. Still waiting for a call back on this.
