You can then program the lock through the app within a 30ft range. If you wish to use the lock remotely, please refer to the BR400 Schlage Sense Wi-Fi Adapter to enable remote connectivity. Lock is a great item however the only downside is it is loud during the lock and unlock process and can hear the motor very loudly. When I come home from work during late night hours it will wake my spouse it’s that loud!!

I am very pleased with the Schlage Lock, how easy it is to assign each person their own designated Access Code and how I can monitor who enters and exits the Home and the ability to Lock the door remotely with the additional purchase of adding a Apple Speaker as my "hub" to link to my wifi. I definitely have already recommended this Lock to friends and family.
