[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this knob and the cover popped off from the metal within a minute. Not recommended.

The door knob looks wonderful and works great after installation. However, the screws that were supplied to install the door knob weren't great quality and bent while trying to install. We had to use screws that we already had to complete the job.

I wanted a locking that could stand up to the rigor of a busy household. I have always thought of Schlage as a brand that stood for quality, durability, and outstanding appearance. I decided that I wanted the best lock I could afford to provide added security to my home and Schlage was the obvious choice. The locking knob set I selected was easy to install and it had the adaptability to fit my needs. The feel and the sound of the unit working supports my thoughts of durability and quality. It looks terrific and it gives me a feel of safety knowing our home is secure. Thank you Schlage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to replace a 26 year old knob. Was able to find the replacement at my local hardware. They were able to rekey the lock in just under 3 minutes. I was able to install the new knob in 8 minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a house that was built in 1950 and the original knobs in the house were Sergeants. Your lock set looks very close to the originals and The Originals were so worn out that I had to turn some of them a half to three quarters of a turn to move the latch. I replaced three of the lock sets. Next I'm going to replace hall and closet sets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lock for personal use. I have replaced a handful of door knobs before and far far this one is the most solid one if ever handled. The actually lock has some good weight to it and doesn't have any play when it's locked. The knobs also feel solid. Most knobs feel like hollow aluminum foil to me. I'm my opinion this door knob is worth the money and I wish I would have tried this brand sooner
