Burned my grass!!! I have now patches of burned grass everywhere! This was supposed to donthr opposite!!! What now!??

I bought this in Summer 2022 and was Very Pleased! Bought it again this year. I have Always been very Pleased with All of the Scotts products. I recommend this and All the Scotts products!

This crap turned my perfectly green lawn a dark brown. I should've read the reviews before applying this mess. It has apparently been happening for years. I reached out to a "lawn expert" and they told me to water it more. It was watered properly initially. As if that's the problem. There was NO over application. Stay away from this mess. It's not even worth the amount of money they want you to spend on it.

I applied this today, July 8th. The recommended Scotts Turf Builder Rotary Broadcast Spreader was 3 3/4...It would barely apply product at that setting. I recommend going up to 5 1/2 to apply product. That's more the range of 15,000 Sq. feet per bag.

I have a Scott's classic drop spreader and follow scott's plan using the my lawn app. The app estimates my lawn at 3900 Sq ft. The Summer guard product never covers my entire lawn even though the spreader is perfectly calibrated and I even set it at 8 instead of the recommend 8.5 so I apply less product. I don't run out of the other products when applying. Scott's needs to reevaluate the amount in the bag. If I remember correctly it is the smallest bad of them all.

I put it on my lawned we had been forcast 3 days of really hot weather applied this to my lawned and it did the same thing it burned my grass. How to repair it is a nightmare. I need help and my lawn was beautiful. Never never never buy this product will not use it again IN FACT I HAVE A BIG BAG AND WILL THROW IT OUT. Thanks scotts for ruining my lawn.

Scott's used to be great but not anymore. Applied Halts in the spring. Yard is full of crabgrass. Applied Weed & Feed and the yard is still full of weeds. Applied Summerguard and it burned the lawn. I spent a lot of money on Scott's and my lawn looks worse than it ever has.

Patience paid off. When I applied Scott's moss control and fertilizer in the spring results happened very quickly - lush green grass. So I was concerned when the same didn't happen when I applied the summer product. BUT, though it took longer, the results were just as good. Could the reason that it took longer be that the formula results in a more slow release product?

This product is the best I have ever tried. It helps the lawn so much in the summer. I have used it every year for the past 4 years and it has even improved my sickly lawn tremendously. It is expensive but so worth it.

Paid more than $90 for a bag. Ridiculously expensive.

Did not kill my clover. Only stunned chickweed. Did not green up rest of lawn in spite of intense watering. Subsequently added some by hand to the clover and chickweed, which killed them, but also killed the surrounding grass.

I used to get eaten by chiggers every summer until I found Scotts Summerguard. I've used this product for 3 years running now and always get excellent results. I don't use anything but Scotts products now and have taken my lawn from weeds to lush. The previous owners just let it go.

The grass is greener. The weeds are starting to die.

Followed directions to a T. Used Scotts brand application tools, BURNED THE HECK OUT OF MY LAWN. Do not buy this product, it's absolute garbage.

I have used SCOTTS SUMMER GUARD for about five years. It’s one of the best products on the market. My lawn stays green while everyone else around my house grass turns brown in the summer. I will on buy SCOTTS fertilizer and summer guard and no one else’s.
