It appears that the wood was not kiln dried as the wood was still green and wet. Within 1 week of installation it was twisted and no longer closes

I use Screen Tight doors for my customers
I'm a contractor who uses Screen Tight doors quite often. The wood doors are finger jointed which mean they consist of multiple pieces glued together. The wood doors are good but the vinyl doors are higher quality in my opinion. They recently changed how they make them so they don't sag anymore. I recommend these doors for screen porches and back doors but not necessarily front doors.

    Good Porch Pet Door
We put this on our screen porch and it looks good. I was confused at first because the pet door wasn't mounted to the door itself but realized it comes that way so you can mount it in either direction.

The door looks great! Two reasons I rated it as good and not excellent are that it’s a bit short for my doorway and it’s a bit light in weight. To compensate for both of these issues, I added a couple of strips of wood to the bottom. Now it looks and feels great!

Very poor quality construction. Joints were ill fitting. Wood was dented and in one place a chunk was missing. Screen trim was cut short and screen was not adequately held in place properly.

        Not enough disclosure
Does not come with with mortising (cuts and holes in wood for hinges, handles and latches. You are expected to be able to do all of this yourself. It would have been nice if they let me know before the purchase.

        Poor quality. Have it hand-picked.
I wish there were better wooden screen doors available. (Vinyl sags and wears poorly.) ScreenTight doors present nice options for wood doors, but the quality is terrible. These doors are made of multiple, glued-together pieces. The first door we received had such poor seams that the gaps were up to 1/2" and did not meet evenly. There was also glue all over and the one corner was crushed. It was irreparable. If I had wanted to make my own door, I would have. Thankfully, HomeDepot let me return it at the store (though inconvenient), and the online ordering customer service rep allowed me to re-order (with at 10% discount) with the promise that the door would be hand-picked. Thankfully the second door that arrived had pieces that met evenly at the seams. However, we still had to use wood putty at the seams before priming.
