This safe is perfect for all the documents we want to keep safe in the event of a fire. The size accommodates documents in hangfiles for easy identification and access. Due to the nature of the safe, it is rather heavy and a carrying handle would make it easier to lift and move.

Needed to save seven years of tax docs for myself and my parents. Took too much room in desk and we live in a fire prone area. Thought this would be a good solution. It was.

Hoping that I never get to find out how this performs in a fire, but it appears to be well constructed (except for the flimsy keys that don't fit the lock particularly well). For the price, it'll do.

Until you need it, you have to assume it will do what it sats, but hopefully I never will! My documents fit as noted. I like that there is a key rather than an electronic lock. I do wish it had handles. For my needs, it's perfect.

Safe File Box replaced an earlier version. Seems well constructed and designed for safekeeping documents. So far so good.

We will use this safe to store important papers and documents to take with us, should we ever have to Bug Out in an emergency.

The fire rating of this product seems good, sturdy box. The cheap key lock is the main problem similar to the other reviews. The key snapped in half the 2nd time I used it. I guess I won’t be locking it anymore since the half the key is jammed in there.

This is my second Sentry Safe. My first one was my deceased father in laws, it was dropped and the back of the lid was broken, so I bought a new one. I love my safe.

Sturdy, plenty of room for files. Have 2 weeks, very heavy & no handles.

No longer keeping my car titles, home deed, insurance papers in my sock drawer. I now have them secure in sturdy storage, along with several years of tax files, product warranties, digital journal archived on a thumb drive. What a great feeling!

The file is just perfect for what we needed .I would buy again.

The metal part of the latch that locks the box gets bent easily preventing the lid from shutting until it’s bent back straight. Anyone can easily open this safe with a flathead screwdriver or even a butter knife. My safe didn’t come with keys, so I open it with a knife when needed.

A great upgrade from our small safe. We outgrew it and needed more space and something still portable. This fit our needs so now I can have 2 separate ones for designated items. Nice and easy design.

I like the size and weight. The it's challenging to get the key to fit in the lock. It takes a lot of wiggling around before it'll insert fully. This makes me a little nervous about it's build quality or longevity. I assume that it can be bolted to the floor, but the instructions don't address this in any way. I'm nervous about cutting in to the bottom, as it could void the warranty or enable me to return the safe. But securing it seems essential to its function.
