These outdoor accents were the right choice. They hide the bolt that ties into the paver. As well, by purchasing the screws and fax bolts, they gave the project an overall crisp look.

look really good - would buy again - perfect for 4x4 post in my garage to hold up heavy bag ! keeps the wood about an inch off the concrete- going to use 2 more for a bench ..

Bogart is incorrect
Holes are NOT designed to use through bolts. These are meant to be used with the proper simpson screws and hex head washers designed for Outdoor Accents connectors. Holes are offset to allow screws to miss each other as screwed in from opposite sides.

The product is designed to put two bolts through the holes with a nut and washer on the other end...
The product is designed to put two bolts through the holes with a nut and washer on the other end. Unfortunately the holes were not drilled in-line, as the holes on one side were 3/8 of an inch off from the other side. Had to elongate them with a round file. Being a retired toolmaker I had plenty of tools around to do this but not everyone does !!
