It was perfect. I replaced my old accordion style dryer vent and this one is so much better. The link gets caught on the inside of the accordion style vent....so this one is so much better. It was easy to attach.

I ordered a washer and dryer from Home Depot (HD), and when they installed the dryer they did the worst job with the vent tubing...It was like an anaconda was behind my dryer preventing me from closing the door to the laundry closet; not to mention, how was it going to efficiently and effectively vent the dryer? Plus, the steam hosing hadn't been attached or suggested. So after going back to HD to get the parts for the dryer's steam option and trying to see about the flexible vent tube option (which was too flimsy in my opinion), my son and I crawled in and out of the space to rearrange and reattach the existing vent tube while putting on the steam hosing. Unfortunately, we kept losing length because the darn vent tubing is so fragile and unforgiving when trying to readjust it. Then, I remembered that I had this issue with my last dryer at an apartment and I had purchased elbows, but I also remembered tossing them out a few months ago when we cleaned out and reorganized the garage. Since HD is my go-to for all things DIY related, I jumped on their website, but sadly this set was not available at the store and could only be shipped to my home. Even worse, I had to wait a week for it to come! However, when it arrived it was a life saver because we quickly had the dryer up and running after it had been sitting in the laundry closet for over a week holding up the use of the new washer (since we weren't going to be hanging our clothes out to dry).

It wasn’t 8 ft and it didn’t go on vent pipe

The sheet-metal work on the 90° elbow‘s had poor workmanship, therefore There were small leaks when pressurized. Also, the clamps provided are a very poor quality. However, once put together and to work it really increased the flow of the exhaust coming out of the dryer.

Very light weight.... bends easy Works good so far three weeks in

This product was east to install and allowed me to put my dryer were I wanted it.

Pretty light weight and delicate. Hard to extend the duct without bending or collapsing it.

Dont bother. The pipe is so soft. Not really semi rigid. Will return.

Came apart at the seams and difficult to manipulate

This vent worked perfectly after I watched a You tube video on how to properly install this product, I also purchased (4) - 4" inch worm clamps this made the install was so much easier, because the clamps that were provided don't work very well, I through them in the trash.

Did a great job at keeping the dryer close to the wall

Exactly what I wanted, looks like it is safer than old floppy vent i replaced. Easy to install. Be careful when extending so you do not break it.

Should have come with hangers to support the long tube from sagging

Should be advertised as 6 foot! Very fragile when expanded and was unable to get anywhere near 8 feet in length. Returned to store for a 2’ length of rigid duct to complete installation.

The on-line order was fine and the pickup easy (although NO HD personnel were involved, & the survey insisted on questions about interactions with HD people;very annoying) Additionally, it turned out that the item ordered did not work in our situation and was returned.

Do not buy. Material is cheap and tears easily. Does not actually pull out to 8 feet. Very disapointed. Returning
