Highly recommend
I love it. It is so lightweight, makes it so easy to work with. We use it on our pellet stoves. (Yes we have two pellets stoves) and a pellet barbecue. Highly recommended.

Best Vac for Ashes EVER!!
Easy assembly and was ready to use! My 5 year old can use it, it’s light weight and does exactly what it advertises, with no ash put into the air in my house at all!

Excellent value
Bought it a year ago. Use it almost daily during heating season to clean the burn pot in my pellet stove.

The Snow Joe 4.8 gal. ash canister vacuum cleaner was the perfect fit! Effortlessly vacuums away the ashes from the pellet stove. It's easy to use and clean up is fast! I have had this unit for 1 month. It far exceeds my expectations! Shipping took longer than expected (3 weeks). Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

Sucks! Not in the good way
Vacuum hasn't had good suction since first couple times we used it. Even after cleaning all filters, suction was still bad. Couldn't pay me to use SnowJoe/SunJoe products. Just cheap garbage that doesn't work. Buy a shovel and a bucket. It's less messy than this vacuum and will far outlast it.

Snow Joe 4.8 gallon ash can vacuum
Works well for vacuuming wood pellet ash out of my pellet stove. It would be nice if the manufacturer took the recommendations of other reviewers by including a thin or smaller diameter hose attachment to get into the smaller cracks and crevices. If it included this narrow attachment I would up my rating from 4 to 5 stars!

No Exhaust
Although the ash vacuum is not as powerful as the wet-dry vacuum I was using to clean my pellet stove, I like the fact that it is self-contained. The ash vacuum doesn't have an exhaust to spew ashes into the air.

Horrible product
This is the worst product ever. The only upside is that when you do vacuum it fits bit through the smoke in the air. Other than that it’s useless it barely vacuumed the ashes. I would never recommend this to my worst enemy.

Returned!
Extremely poor suction, clogged up constantly and had to take outside to try to free the hose, can might be 4.8 gallons, but with the massive filter, probably about 2 gallons capacity or less.

Avoid this brand
Straight out of the box the prefilter has a cut in it. I assume it was from someone opening the filter box at the place it was manufactured. It's out of stock... So I'm waiting for email to let me know it's back in stock. The machine itself is the weakest vacuum I've ever used. I would not recommend to anyone.

This is a good idea as it saves my regular vacuum but it doesn’t have a lot of suction. I have to go over spots several times before ashes are picked up.

low pick up
I purchased one of these to clean my pellet stove. It's ability to pick up debris is marginal. I purchase it so I could vacuum the stove after use and found that my regular shop vac did a superior job. I would not purchase this item again
