This product is worthless for the intended application - it has the durability of wet toilet paper.

The fabric tears way too easy. Basically just good for wrapping the drain pipe.

I needed to lay multiple layers of the fabric because it was so thin and weak. About as strong as a used dryer sheet.

This is a pretty bad product. Definitely should not be used in french drain installations. Does not hold up and will end up with holes and let soil through. Tears almost like paper.

This material was so flimsy it would tear as we were trying to unroll it. I would use different type material next time like the black barrier used for garden areas to keep weeds out.

Effective but easy to tear.

An absolute waste of time and money. Dryer sheets are stronger than this crap Heck I'd use the lint from the dryer before I bought this again. Don't use the stuff, it's junk tears easy. Not durable at all.

I thought this was a great bargain for the amount provided. I used this to create an inner tube of pipe + gravel before filling the remaining trench with gravel. It does tear pretty easily so you will need to learn to be a bit gentle with it.

Absolute garbage. Way too thin and flimsy. Could poke through with just a finger. No way this thing lasts more than a season, if it even lasts beyond install.

Don't waste your money on this product. Pinned the fabric to the sides of the trench to add stone and the fabric ripped and fell in. Tried pulling the fabric up and ripped more.

Good quality soil separator. I used it to cover a pit filled with bricks that I use for the wash machine. I put a 6 inch layer of dirt over it and everything went perfect.

I used it as part of a French drain that I installed in the neighbor's yard. I wrapped the one foot depth of pea gravel with 300 feet of Soil Separator in a trench that was 35 feet long and about 20 inches wide. Use a garden rototiller to make the trench and life will be good. Throw the grass to one side and the good soil to the other side. Keep the good soil in a pile separate from the clay soil. Save any rocks you find to weight the Soil Separator to hold it in place while you backfill with pea gravel.
