Nice heavy duty wire for long extension cords. Heavy insulation (600 volt) will resist abrasion better than an pre-made extension cord available.

Very nice cable.. The outer jacket is very thick and the overall cable is much bigger than the normal 12 AWG cable, so do take that into consideration when you are purchasing. I had a very hard time trying too fit this cable in the Neutrik PowerCon connector.

I called the store and told them that the original purchased cord length was about 15 to 20 feet short of 100 feet. I found this out after I had installed plug and receptacle and tried to use the cord. They told me to bring the cord back and they will provide a new cord. I removed the plug and receptacle and returned the cord. Picked up the new cord reinstalled plug and receptacle and I am in business. Very good cord for outside usage. Other than original cord being short this cord meets all my expectations.

Quality crafted SOOW cable with flexibility appropriate for this gauge cable. I will be using this to connect a 4500W stainless heater element to a 240V supply for my brewery boil kettle. Easy to work with and terminate. Based on my experience this extra hard usage cable should still be going strong in 20 years or more.
