Horrible to install and worse to use.
I am already thinking about getting a new panel. I cannot have had a worse experience.

Install was very straightforward. Lost one star due to breakers being difficult to snap into place, and they tend to open under less than the stated load. Maybe the breakers need to break in? It’s a bit annoying to have the toast half toasted due to a popped breaker when the omelet is done…….

I like both and home depot is very good experience.... the only thing that I think is the price of your 100 amps breaker.... your price is 118 dollars and I find it on line for the price of 46.64 ..... what kind of price mark up that home depot do.... I enjoy shopping at home depot for my home improvement and yards works and gardening but this is way out of hand!!!!! now I have to look at other place to compare price before I visit home depot.....

This package was exactly what I needed to replace an existing panel in our home. The existing panel was only 12 spaces and we needed to run some more circuits and, although the panel came with some breakers, we did end up purchasing some additional ones. The kit did not come with ground terminals though which surprised me a little bit and I did have to spend an additional $20 on a couple of ground terminals.

Very hard to Close the 200 Amp Main Breaker
This is a great panel. I broke the handle off my new installed 200 Amp breaker and had to get a new breaker. Prior to installation, of the replacement breaker, a buddy of mine and I attempted to bench close the breaker but neither of us 80 year olds could close it. A we finally got it to close so I installed it with the breaker closed then brought in power. Everything else went well. I cannot recommend this panel. I will say Schneider/Square D was great dealing with this issue.

The extra force required to turn the circuit breaker ON, as compared to the force required to turn the circuit breaker OFF, is normal. The operating handle of the QOM2 main circuit breaker requires 24 lbs of force to turn ON, 7 lbs of force to turn OFF, and 10 lbs of force to RESET, sorry for the inconviniences, We will take your comments into account and forward them to the proper department.
