I’ve bought this same panel for homes I’ve built over the past 20 years. This was the first time I had to drill out the knockouts because of poor quality control from the factory.

Replacement of my old breaker box was made easy with...
Replacement of my old breaker box was made easy with the design of the new unit. Having a main breaker was mandatory for my purpose as the forty year old unit which it replaced did not have. There are also a lot more ground and nuetral points to utilize in the new box. The square drive heads on ground bars were also a plus. No slipping of a slotted bit which aided in getting ground and nuetral wires firmly tightend.

Even though I had a licensed electrician to install this panel, I watched as he remarked how easy the installation and how it allowed him to organize the wires and breakers.

Worked as expected

I'm an electrical contractor and install homeline panels often. They're great for the price, and great quality for the most part. My biggest quarrel with them is the knockouts for the braeker spaces don't come out cleanly, and leave very sharp edges. The other thing is on the neutral bars aren't threaded quite right and some seem like they're stripping out as you tighten them, If they could fix these 2 issues these would be fantastic panelboards to install.
