this makes the project look complete and the base is 1.25" the same as the base from the old dated wooden balusters, I used these and the project was super easy especially be cause they're friction fit so they're fast no need to fuss with a set screw, and it really adds to the finished look and updated style and hides any imperfections from cutting the baluster to length

Very easy to use. A bit easy to slip after you've mounted them. I could easily see kids moving them up and down, but it's simple to push them back down/up to look correct.

As a follow up to my previous review regarding my issue with the Evermark baluster shoes I am delighted to report that I was immediately contacted by the Evermark customer service function. They informed that my experience was a result of a factory mistake and were extremely apologetic as to this issue. They quickly offered several options as to what they were willing to do to resolve my issue. They were very cordial and determined to make things right. I have never experienced this level of customer service and wouldn't hesitate to use their products in my next staircase project knowing that they are there to standby their products if there are any issues in the future. Because of their post sale efforts they deserve a "5 star" rating!

This is a mixed review as the parts actually look great and work as advertised. The downside however is that the parts are not of a consistent height out of the same bin or box. I bought about 108 of these for two staircases. After finishing the first staircase I noticed on the second staircase during installation that some of the flat shoes measured 1-1/16" H, the balance measured 1-3/16" H. I checked the barcode SKU on both size parts and the numbers were identical (5921800683). The product specification identifies them as 1" H. Sadly I went and looked at the first staircase and sure enough the height difference wasn't noticed at that installation and there is a mix of parts on that finished assembly. I suppose I could have given a better review and suggested that you sort through the parts first to make sure they are all the same height but my wife is so upset about this visual anomaly on the finished staircase that I decided to give it a "1" in order to save my marriage.

Rubber piece is not as strong to keep it tight to the top of the railing. Some of these move around.

These are simple to install and they seem like they will stay in place. You simply slide them over the Metal spindle, Put the spindle in place, and slide them against the wood banister or floor. It’s not a tight fit and a curious child could work one loose. Overall, they’re above above average.

Work and look good. Enough tension to stay in place but easy to move.

They worked pretty good.

The parts themselves were good. The problem was in obtaining them. Never could find all we needed in your stores. Would check with the various stores locally, would be told they were available. Would travel to those stores only to find NONE! Finally able to order on line.
