Even with pre-drilled holes the heads kept on shearing off. The rest of the parts are fine.

Worked well. I used these, along with a new newel post, to replace 50 year old wobbly stair rails. I was able to keep all of the rest of the stair parts and they are sturdy as a rock.

The hardware is awesome and my post feels rock solid. The trim looks nice but is a little finicky to install. Only the very top sits flush against the post, and there is a slight gap between the bottom piece and the bracket. Due to this, you have to make sure that if you clamp these, the clamp has to be located on the top portion otherwise the trim piece will not sit completely upright.

Very nice kit to attach and trim out a newel post. I am installing vinyl plank flooring so I needed to attach the newel post differently than it was with carpet and this worked perfect.

great way to attach a newel post when you don't have clear access to framing members

I liked the product. The cuts were crisp and it did its job perfectly.

These fit perfectly and are easy to either stain or paint.

When Install properly it makes the post look finished and it is solid.

Client stairs was wobbly and squeaking so I was able to get it all tightened up for him,it was the best fix I could find without taking it apart and putting it back together

The product is satisfactory, but costs entirely too much ($28). A fair price would be half that amount. Further, be careful to examine the boxes you purchase because I found many to be already opened and lacking pieces.
