This is a GREAT product!
I have made several models, both wooden and plastic, and this is a staple to have right beside your at your work station.

Cheap Chinese knockoff of an Exacto knife. Looks the same but is aluminum, so it's very light compared to the original product. The blade is sharp, so I'll give it that. But it's not worth half of the price paid. I mistakenly thought since it had the brand name Stanley, that it would be a quality product.

I suppose it's a good product. I've never used a hobby knife before. I only needed it to whittle down a very small rubber gasket. It worked fine for that, but the blade kept Coming off because I didn't know that it needed to be tightened before use. I'm sure for people who are familiar and use hobby knives more often than I do would probably find this much better product than I did.

The blade comes loose every five seconds. Constantly needs to be retightened. Really a pain to use

the small diameter barrel Stanley knives the blades easily fall out. difficult to get tight

It’s sharp. But the part that locks in the blade comes loose often. I try to tighten it well, but still loosens. Dangerous.

I think the product works great. You have to pay attention to the blade locking mechanism when applying force with the blade. It will loosen if not tight enough. Just awareness. I could not find blade replacements at home depot. Overall it works great and fits my needs.

Product seems overpriced for a simple aluminum shaft handle with screw on blade lock piece. The lock piece loosens often and has to be tightened frequently.
