Feels well made. I like the 'leverlock' vs the more traditional 'button lock'. I haven't used it too much yet but from the times I have used it, it feels like the quality of the tape lock mechanism is good and will last.

Can't by feel determine which side to pull out the scale. That's my only knock so far. You need to allow a period of use to pass before asking for a rating.

I like the Stanley Leverlock Tape Measure because it automatically locks itself. One simply pushes in the leverlock to pull out the tape. When one releases the leverlock the tape measure automatically locks making it easy to use. I recommend this tape measure which is easy to use and lock. I have owned this tape measure for about 4 months and am very pleased with it.
