Cracked !!! Didn’t see under sticker
I’m so angry 😡 I wish I had read the reviews before having this installed . This manufacturer should be held accountable for selling defective products that people pay contractors a lot of money to install!! Home Depot wants me to tear out the drywall around it to return it or I’m S.O.L not good the delta brand reviews are the same tons of complaints about cracks . We’re paying higher prices for stuff for it to be made cheap. I think this calls for the media to be involved!!! I’m calling!!

    Nice tub but design could be improved
    This tub was perfect in terms of apron height vs soaking depth. It’s easy enough to step over (my 4 and 5 year olds can manage it) but deep enough for me to enjoy a soak. The color is nice (slightly off white). But as others reviewers mentioned, the lip around the edge is a bad feature if you’re looking to tile or use a surround other than theirs AND get a shower door. A door would only work if you use their surround for the walls. If you know about this design flaw going in I think there are ways to adjust installation to be able to receive doors. I wanted a curtain anyway for now so it was fine. But it would be bice to have the option for a door in the future. I feel confident we can rig something up to make it work if I do want a door in the future, but it’s annoying nonetheless. I also noticed some scratches after installation, which I think is more the fault of my co tractor not being careful enough with his tools. But helpful to know that it does scratch.

      Perfect Size for a Minimal Upgrade
      This is the best addition in my standard bathroom that I can ever ask for. Perfect leg height, to hop into a bath. It was light, no cracks, no dings, easy to install according to my contractors. It feels great when you sit inside of it, adds a special something to any bathroom that is in need of a face lift so to speak. You can't beat the value and the arms rests are just a bonus especially when you want to have a spa day at home. Not to mention the Upper Marlboro HD is the best site to get quality items.

        Check for cracks
        Before leaving the store, ensure you check the tub for cracks. The installation process was smooth and the tub functions well, proving relatively easy to install. However, the instructions are lacking in completeness and clarity. Considering the $700 price tag, it's disappointing to receive only a single page of instructions – I expect more guidance for such a purchase. On a positive note, the Sterling Ensemble tub fits inside my Chevy Traverse SUV but bot the walls.

Didn't come with a felt pad so we went with a mortar base. Followed instructions and everything went smooth. Love the textured pan. Helps not slip in shower. Paired with traverse shower surround is a perfect combo!

                Does not come with instructions. You have to go online and find some. Does not come with the steel brackets needed to secure a level the tub. Can’t get them separate at the store. I had to make brackets.

                  Quality check before purchasing
                  There were a few small cracks I wasn’t concerned with. Next to one crack there was some dried up plaster in the corner of the tub. I thought maybe it was dried up stuff that never got wiped up. Turned out they used it to patch a half inch puncture. Taking a further look it looks like they used drywall mud in an attempt to fix it.

                    Check the Tub for cracks before leaving the store.
                    The first two I purchased were perfect. My third purchase had to go back three (3) times because the tub was cracked. Whether it was shipping or poor packaging, 3 times is a lot. This is made worse by the availability of right-hand drain. Also Home Depot does not carry a lot of stock. This could be a problem with a project that is time sensitive. Each install went very well. The tub works well and is fairly easy to install. The instructions though are not very complete or clear. For a $700 price, you might think they could print more than a single page of instructions. Videos online were helpful. I get more printed instructions from a $20 coffee pot then the Sterling Ensemble. The Sterling Ensemble does not fit into a regular truck, and forget trying an SUV. Home Depot would do well to deliver this to the site.

                    Not happy
                    Had this tub installed by a contractor like the looks of it liked the non skid bottom but unfortunately it has cracked already was installed in June now in September I have this issue Not Happy now have to do it again more money out the door

                      Plastic... it's basically F-ing plastic.
                      Where do I start? First, it's essentially plastic. It's so weak that leaning it on its side will cause the plastic grid on the bottom to crack off. stepping into it made another crack and the drain hole wasn't even cut out properly! You couldn't pay me to install this piece of crap. It is quite literally the single worst designed and executed item I have ever bought in my entire life. No, that is not hyperbole.

                        Good tub for bathroom update
                        We installed this tub along with the matching wall surround. If your walls are flush and you make the opening the correct size by shimming/sistering new studs, then this will fit and install pretty easily. We layed some quickcrete down first then set the tub in and leveled it and let it sit for a day. We had access underneath so we shimmed the front feet and outside feet with some wood, and the tub is as solid as can be. This is a great tub for the price.

                          CAREFULLY INSPECT ALL PARTS BEFORE YOU INSTALL. We liked the looks of the unit, and the strength of the material when pressing on floor models were the 2 big selling points for us. Before install I looked the tub over, but it wasn't until it was already installed and we were doing clean up that we discovered a hairline crack. Construction dirt filled it in and made it visible. Only option was to rip it out and replace. I physically touched every inch of the second unit to ensure nothing was hidden from view - I recommend you do the same. New tub is in and so far I've been happy with it.

                            Quality tub that was easy to install. It's just tall enough that a standard waste & overflow drain (with a trip lever) is too short to work properly. Had to upgrade to a cable drain which is much more expensive. Overall good product though
