Had a fireplace for 12 years and have never used it because of holes in basement of chimney. Now it looks like I have a fire in the fire place. Fire heat and no smoke or suit.

This insert is absolutely perfect! We’ve had it almost 2 months and have used it every day! The heater and the holographic fire. It’s says not to use an extension cord, but the cord wasn’t long enough. I looked at the wattage, and specifications of the fireplace, and found an AC extension cord, that had the same specifications (actually it was rated to handle a bit more) and it’s worked perfectly. Doesn’t overheat or even get warm! Love the remote and the fireplace looks realistic and beautiful.

Looks great. We took out the gas and made it electric.

This electric fire place insert looks realistic and gives off a nice amount of warmth. The fire effect looks nice when lit. The power cord could have been a bit longer. I would recommend this.

This fireplace log insert came at a great price. It was half the price and worth the money. It looks cozy in my fireplace in the basement. I wish that it would put out a little more heat but the room is large so I think it is doing as well as it can.

It took less than five minutes to unpack the log set, place it in the fireplace opening and plug it into an outlet. The red glow of the logs looks like real flames and the heating element quietly warms the livingroom in no time. A small handheld control makes it easy to turn on and off and to adjust the heat. It has been in daily use for the past month. This log set insert was the perfect answer for our needs.

Yes, I would indeed recommend this item, in fact I already have recommended it. I have a gas fireplace, but not want to deal with wood, the clean-up and the smell of the fireplace. I purchased this insert and looks just like logs burning...has the perfect illusion of fire in the fireplace. I love the looks of it. However, I do not feel any heat from it, I have adjusted the thermostat on it, still waiting! But, overall, it is perfect for the look, and best of all, NO clean-up and NO smell of burning wood!

I have a home with an open fireplace that I have never used. Kids wanted to burn a fire in it but I wasn't sure about it because of never using. I got this and it is extremely realistic and puts out heat. I was pleasantly surprised how real it looks.

Shipped with a broken remote control. I contacted the manufacturer and was ghosted (ignored).

Something loose inside I guess. Wish there was a way to exchange through website, but there isn’t one. Re-ordered. Will try again. The price is only four dollars more than yesterday‘s deal of the day special. Not much of a special I guess.

it is not to what i expected it to be, plastic and guess i was expecting too much for the price I paid for. Plus I have to came back twice for the return since I forgot the order number.

The electric fireplace is beautiful and soothing, however, I did not expect it to have a humming sound. When the room is quiet, you can hear it even if you do not turn the heat on. It is unfortunate, because otherwise, I like it a lot.

This item hardly produces any heat. I will be returning to home depot for a refund.

We can't burn an actual fire in our fireplace. This does a great job of providing a similar ambiance and a little extra heat as well. We really enjoy it.

I like this unit...it is realistic but wish it had a brighter light.

The overall look while not operating is great. The negatives are the logs are very cheaply made and look like they would crack if any pressure were applied or the heat was too high or on for too long. When the "flames" are on, the reflection in the back of the firebox is great, however, because the light that creates the flames has to roll forward to create the flames "leaping" in reflection, it appears the flames/heat is rolling downward in the logs and is very unrealistic. We returned the unit.
