Love the coziness it brought to my empty fireplace. Gives off a decent amount of heat to warm the room it is in. Just wish it would have no humming sound at all.

It keeps my den area warm and we are loving it.

The logs are attractive and realistic looking when set back in to my elderly fireplace. The remote feature is great!

We purchased this to heat our 400+ sf living room. It has been amazing! From the moment we first turned it on, this heater has put out enough heat to take the chill out of the room. The "fire" is a great extra feature. There have been several times, when viewed from just the right angle, the fire actually looks like a real fire in our fireplace.

my wife and i both enjoy this product it produces a nice ambiance, and it heats the room well.

Great little space heater and fireplace insert. As described. It’s not a realistic fire but it definitely takes the chill off of a small room and my guests have all found it soothing and commented on how pleasant it makes our room.

This heater was only meant to heat up to a 400 sq. ft. Room. We decided to try it in our living room. Which is bigger. Heats up real nicely otherwise. The log flames look beautiful, especially the flames showing up on the back wall.

I bought this for my parents who use it so they dont have to turn on their house heater and heat the whole house. It keeps the living area warm for them.

Very nice electric fireplace. We just took our gas inserts logs out and put this in its place. Doesn't provide a lot of heat, but it is adequate.

Was exactly what I was looking for. It has 'fire' and heat, or just ' fire'. Love the remote control as well. Fits perfectly in my fireplace.

Heats up fast, looks nice and feels cozy

It is hardly ever is cold enough in Florida to have a real fire in our fireplace. This log set allows me to enjoy the ambiance any time and provides the option to have the heat function on or off. The flames look very realistic reflecting on the back of the fire box. My husband got this for me as a Christmas gift and I absolutely love it!

Bought for my Mom and placed inside her real fire place. looks great, heat element heats living room nicely, although we live in Florida! What she loves is that she can turn it on whenever she wants and no mess in the fire place.

Just what we needed, provides some heat and without the mess burning wood.

While somewhat warm, the logs do not light like shown in the photo. We would have been better off purchasing a heater with more heat potential, but wanted the ambiance. As it turns out, this does not deliver that ambiance.

Love it. Heats well, the light is soft an relaxing. Things worth noting. The directions are lacking, but it's easy to sort. If you want it to be quiet make sure it's level. Outside that it goes above and beyond expected.

Like it! I would give 5 stars for a little more heat, but it does do a nice job. 3 speeds on the flame projection give you high-fast whipping flames, steady burning flames, and almost no flame.

Love this, it has been a life saver so far this winter.

The ‘fire’ is barely noticeable on high, even at night.

The heater looks beautiful, but it 1) doesn't heat up to 1000 sq ft as advertised. Works fine if you want to lounge within 3 feet and keep your legs warm. 2) The power cord gets pretty hot, probably not a big issue but something to be aware of. As a decorative heater it is very nice.

I got it for my gas fireplace the is missing the internal parts of my gas fireplace. The Barkridge 20.5 is just right for my fireplace for now.
