I love this chair! I shared it on FB, and I received so many compliments. The chair was easy to assembled. I highly recommend this chair.

I wanted to love this chair. I purchased two of them. Biggest waste of money and energy. 1. Don't even bother trying to use the wrenches to put this together. Hardware was unimpressive. One of the top pieces of the chair was warped and the middle screw in the back of the chair could not be inserted, so I ended up using a piece of jute cord to secure it together. Very poor quality. 2. One pillow, which came in clear wrap, had dark gray stains on both sides. See attached photo. How could someone not see this when packing these pillows???? 3. After one rainfall, the white cushions were spotted with tan splotches. Whatever stain or paint they used on the chair - leeched and the cushions were covered. 4. The cushions were the worst part of the chair. THEY REEKED a chemical smell that was so off-putting, I'm sure these things are outgassing toxic chemicals. They still stink after two weeks outside. This was a total waste of money. I wish I could return them, but I have no way to get them back to the store. And I doubt they would take them back since I put them together and they've been outside for 2 weeks. HORRIBLE quality. So dissapointed. They are so horrible, I don't even want to donate them to someone. The cushions smell like chemicals.

My only complaint is the assembly directions. Not helpful at all. I was able to look at online pics and figure it out. But I LOVE my chair. Its so beautiful and COMFY!

A little difficult to put together because of small entry points for screws===4 in base to seat and 4 into top to seat. really small places to put your hands and an electric screw driver is helpful too. Regardless, very comfy and lovely on my deck.

I love the way that this chair looks, but I was disappointed with the quality. It arrived with some of the brown ties hanging loose. Also, the two pieces that needed to be screwed together were bent and didn't align properly. We're keeping it because I love how it looks but I am concerned about how long it will last outside.

This Hampton Bay chair is a Cross between a papasan chair and a hanging egg chair – a nice alternative to standard patio lounge chairs. This chair is super comfortable and very easy to put together. While the chair looks airy the build is substantial - the chair isn't light and won't easily blow around. Cushions are high quality made from what appears to be stain resistant materials. They are zippered and can be removed for washing. Also I like the white framing with sparsely covered resin wicker making the chair airy with lots of visibility and great for basking in the sun yet reflecting the heat. Dark patio furniture can sometimes get too hot to sit in. The Hampton Bay Patio Egg chair offers ample seating, the domed egg top is the perfect height even for larger 6' men in the family. I like the lower profile, my legs are relaxed, my feet comfortably rest on the floor and much easier to get out of than traditional egg chairs. The finish in some spots is poor quality - on both sides where the egg top of the chair connects with the lower seat there are gaps, rough edges and flawed finish. I plan to repair these areas and apply silicon caulk. These flaws are unfortunate because the chair is a pleasant change for a quiet get away or good book.

The chair comes disassembled, but well packed. It didn't take much time to put it all together. It is 3 parts, the base, the chair and the top "egg". The only difficulty was the bolts on the base. It was a tight squeeze with the Allen wrench. It all fit together nicely. The cushions are well made and it's comfortable to sit on. It looks like it is wicker, but it's metal and plastic which should last a long time outdoors.

Hampton Bay Brown Wicker Outdoor Patio Egg Lounge Chair with Gray Cushions Hampton bay did an excellent job designing and putting this chair together, in fact, it’s one of the best Hampton Bay furniture products we have ever owned. The “brown wicker” description is a bit off however because the wicker on our chair is actually a very, very, light brown. And the rest of the chair is pretty much white, so the overall look (see backyard photo attached) is very light and airy. Assembly was aided by the inclusion of not only all the necessary parts along with spares (thank you), but the need tools as well (see second photo). It was easy to assemble and we like that a lot, but my ¼-inch speed ratchet and 10mm socket made the job go much quicker. One of the nice finishing touches were the white plastic nut and bolt head covers that snapped over these parts (see third photo) to nicely maintain the chairs elegant look. If you have it shipped as we did, be advised it comes in a very big and heavy duty cardboard box (see last photo) that is difficult for one person to carry. So we opened the box and carried the three main parts inside for assembly.

This Hampton Bay Black Wicker Outdoor Patio Egg Lounge Chair with Gray Cushions,will be beautiful on my patio.This was very easy to put together,and is very well made,It has a steel frame wrapped in wicker polyethylene rattan,and comes complete with the cushion.The chair also swivels making it easy to have conversations with everyone.very easy to clean just mild soap and water,But will be taking my seat cushion in when the weather is bad.

Love this new patio chair! I have been wanting an egg chair for years (for indoor use) but when I saw that Hampton Bay made an outdoor style that looked great, I had to look into it. It is a heavy material, I assume aluminum frame with what seems to be vinyl wrapping to give it a rattan look. The cushions are nice, and neutral, which works with my outdoor scheme/ The box it came in was huge and weighty. Unpacking it was a chore, as was building it, but I am so glad with the finished product. It sits nicely and solidly on a swivel base. The black frame works. Not sure if I could ever paint it in the future, but for now it looks sharp and clean. If you have socket wrenches at home, use those instead of the supplied wrenches as it will make it so much easier. Took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. But like I said, it is worth the effort. I now have my favorite new outdoor seat in time for spring.

The wicker outdoor patio egg lounge is really a fun and delightful addition to my patio. The cushions make the chair quite comfortable and the swivel effect is a added bonus. The pillows are actually more a cream color that matches the chair. The chair was very easy to put together in 10-15 minutes and seems to be very well made to last many seasons. I plan to take my cushions in to keep them clean when not in use.

I’m not sure how this item passed Home Depot quality assurance team. This model is a safety hazard. This is NOT wicker, this chair does NOT swivel and the screws, bolts, washers are not fitted properly for this chair. I’m not sure if all Stylewell is this low in quality, but I’d be skeptical. This was a waste of fuel ship from China to the US. My furniture assembler and handyperson has never told me in nine years that a piece was junk. I would not recommend this item as it is currently designed and shipped. Buyer beware!

Nice chair,would like a hanging chair better

Comfortable cushions for seat, back and arms — practical gray color to hide any scuffs or spots. Everyone loves the swivel feature!

It came very damaged and it was very difficult to return mostly because of the size

I was excited to put it together, only to find out the material that twirls in the metal frame was torn on one side towards the middle. I guess I got a defective one. Very disappointing considering how much I paid for it.

This was definitely easy to assemble .. My sister loved it..

Quality was not great, wicker comes off easily.
