this is my first hvlp paint sprayer. this definitely put me to the next level because the outcome of the product is just amazingly clean. The only thing i didnt like is how it burst few paint spot once in a while and the toggle control is not accurate. i really like the portability of this process definitely faster and more professional .

This is a piece of uselessness. Tried everything the instructions said, still threw it in the trash. If I could give it a zero, I would.

Was easy to operate

Very slow rate to paint, you can actually paint faster with a 1 inch brush,

Pay attention to the red sprayer cap. It becomes loose after a while. Need to continue to tighten up every now and then while using it.

I've even resorted to spray paint for easier coverage but nothing compares to a legit paint sprayer. I have a few sun joe products and I have yet to be dissatisfied. This handheld paint sprayer is no different. It's fantastic and has made my household projects 100% easier and better. Very easy to use, instructions were easy to follow, no clog or delay issues and easy to hold for a good period of time while painting. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes to take on their own projects!

Easy to maneuver and carry around. My dad does a lot of home improvements and he has “borrowed” it indefinitely. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to paint large area rather easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this handheld paint sprayer is amazing!!! I can’t believe I haven’t tried one of these sooner. This has made painting such a breeze. I felt that this way of painting is much more efficient and very accurate when it comes to application. Comparing this to the old method of painting, with a brush or a roller that can get tiresome and very tedious. Not only that, I would make a mess all the time by dropping paint droplets all over the place because I would heavily apply paint to my brush. This sun joe handheld sprayer didn’t drop droplets everywhere. The amount of time it took me to paint my door was 4 times faster than it would take me to manually paint my door. I love the 3 spray options, I used the round option the most and then used the horizontal spray option when I got to the tight corners. The only downside I had was that it was a little heavy for me. Given that I am a tiny woman who isn’t as strong as she thinks she is, the weight of the paint (30 ounces) worth was too much for my skinny wrists. So I did have to use less paint in the compartment. If you’re a strong person then that probably won’t be a problem for you, but it was for me. Overall I give this an A+ definitely a must have for anyone who needs to paint anything in their house. You will save so much time and have a great paint job as well. The instructions are very easy to read and use. I didn’t have a hard time trying to figure it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cordless Sun Joe paint sprayer is a life saver. We are repainting our home and due to work schedules we do not have much time to do it. We are able to reduce the overall time it will take with the paint sprayer instead of using the paint brushwe and roller. I love the fact that it came with 3 different spray nozzles. Add the paint into the container, attach to sprayer, aim and spray. Adjust the pressure setting to high or low and you're set. We were able to do over half of the garage until we ran out of paint. A must have for home renovations!

The one thing that I did not care for, was how heavy it got after a while. The battery definitely makes it a bit heavier. Also, make sure you read through the directions thoroughly.

Painted my fence , haven’t finished the job yet but I plan on working on it this weekend. Used a stain and it looks like new. So beautiful ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First and foremost, I am not a professional painter. I am more of a DIYer and have zero experience with paint sprayers. I was a little hesitant because I’ve never used one before and had heard mixed opinions about them as I was researching. I was reluctant to pull it out of the box and use it because I was concerned it would be difficult to use. Well... I was wrong. I did a a little research on paint sprayers in YouTube before I started to get some helpful tips and tricks. Wow, what a breeze this was to setup and actually use. This thing is awesome. It made repainting the walls so much easier, and I don’t think I could go back to using a roller. Here are a couple tips I found using it that I hope help anyone reading this: First, taking care of it will go a long way. If you clean it properly at the end of each use, you won’t have any issues. Soapy water does wonders. When starting to paint, watch out because occasionally the first spray flicks out a bit of built up splatter... most of the time that can actually be avoided by just wiping off the build up on the nossle. Also I would recommend goggles and a mask, and covering EVERYTHING of value in the room your planning to paint; after painting ny son’s room I could see there was a decent amount of paint dust in the air and the next day it settled on anything that wasn’t covered. All pretty basic things when co spidering it sprays the paint. No deal breakers here. It was so very easy to use. The cleanup was way quicker then rollers and brushes. I’m sold.

The one feature that I enjoy most will be the fact that you have a mist control that you can adjust from a wide mist to a more narrow mist. It also comes with a viscosity cup that way you can judge whether or not you can even use the paint you want to in the paint sprayer. So far I tested the paint sprayer on a cardboard box to see if it worked well and was pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to use this on my house!

There’s was very little over spray , so no wasted paint . It stays charged for 20 minutes at a time , that was perfect for the small room I was painting . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a corded HVLP that I love so when I saw this cordless model I had to give it a try. First off like any sprayer you normally have to thin the paint a bit to get smooth results. I use Floetrol with good results. This little guy does an impressive job! I used it to paint louvered closet doors and the paint went on real smooth and evenly. This is not a replacement for the higher cost corded HVLP for precision cabinet painting but is ideal for general painting. Makes painting mouldings and doors much faster and with much better results than a brush.

I wasn't sure what to expect but it was definitely alot easier than using a paint brush. It was easy to hold and worked pretty well for what I was doing. It was easy to assemble and get running also. It will be great for some other small paint jobs that I have to do. I think it is a good quality product.
