Excellent product at an excellent price. I can’t speak to the longevity of the product as it’s only been up for a month but it is ULTRA quiet and reduced our radon levels within hours to below 1.0pci/L. If you’re are a DIYer: You will need an exterior switch cover, a toggle switch and junction box and some SJOW cord (about 3’ length) that attaches to the radon fan along with some exterior MPT water tight cord bushings and FPT adaptor and pvc nut (gray). The fan has a hole that you feed the cord through and it should be water tight - there is a radonaway exterior switch kit that comes with all the supplies needed that you can order on the website. The cord will go from the fan to the switch at the exterior junction box and you can run the hot wire from inside the house to the exterior junction box as well. The gasket for the cover that encloses the wiring on the fan was a little squirmy so we used a think layer of exterior silicone caulk to seal everything and make sure it’s water tight. Overall, I would recommend the fan and if you’re doing it yourself - make sure you run the proper drainage (bypass the fan for condensation), follow the local code (make sure the outlet is 10’ off the ground and away from windows and doors) and get an electrician to help you wire it up.

Typical air pull/push product that works as intended. A hum is noticable as this is placed in the attic. May wrap with insulation to help with that if plausible. The wire connection is an easy screw down terminal. It appears a weather plug to seal the power cord/wire and hole is not included. The coupler adapters are nice, but decided to use 3 inch pipe on the draw side and finding that size coupler was found elsewhere. Running for a week and radon readings started to drop when installed!

Good value, it was nice to buy everything I need in one package rather than hunting down each item. The fan is quiet and easy to install, although the brackets were too short to be of any use in my application.

Worked exactly as advertised. I installed it, turned it on and it drew air.

Purchased this Radon kit from the Hagerstown, Md. store. Installed it and it has a short possibly in the windings because it trips circuit breaker. Returning unit and hope next one works. Appears to be a few reviews indicating a fan problem with these units.

Exactly as described and pictured. Installed easily and runs quietly. Fan is completely inaudible in the house and only noticeable outside when you're fairly close to it. Dropped our radon levels from 15 to 0.4.

Assembly was relatively simple. Would have been nice to have a prewired electrical plug instead of having to install it myself. Otherwise it works well.

It's really hard to rate an item that has been only in use for about a week. So far, the radon fan seems to be working as it should.

they could have the sizes of the out lets so it would be easier to get the right fittings for it

Easy install into existing pipe system in the basement. Runs quiet. Don't forget to buy your power cord, it doesn't come with one. And some clear silicone to seal where the wiring comes out of the housing, I was getting a little air flow but silicone took care of it.

works great, we had a radon of 24 so I sealed the floor and installed this system. We had the radon checked again and now its 1.9.thanks. Thanks John
