This particular sheet of plywood that I purchased had serious quality control problems as the surface veneer laminate was delaminating in several areas across the plywood, becoming obvious as I broke the plywood down with table saw. Significant long shreds of the veneer delaminated all using a new high-quality plywood blade. Fortunately I was building a shop cabinet, and the deamination did not affect the structural integrity of the build

For $93 per sheet this has the thinnest veneer I’ve ever seen. Itsplinters too easily when cut and sands off way too easily.

Expensive trash
This plywood is the worst. If you’re going to spend this much on birch, just go to your local lumberyard and buy the real deal which is far superior to this crap. The veneer is paper thin, there are plenty of voids throughout. It chips and peels easily when cutting. You can damage it just by setting it down slightly hard. Real birch is tougher then this crap.

Can I give this junk a ZERO?
Veneer is paper thin and splinters badly when cross cut, even when taped first. And the masking tape pulled the veneer off when I took it off.

Plywood was delaminated in the middle, when we returned after cutting off one foot that revealed the delamination, we were treated rudely and told it was against policy, though they would refund this one time. I told Corey, the "manager", that she didn't know what she was talking about, they sold us something that wasn't what they said it was, so a refund of over $100 ($93 + tax) was certainly due. We were not trying to usurp their "we don't let customers return cut wood" policy. The "manager" also said all the pieces were delaminated in the middle and was so rude that we will not be returning.

Worst birch plywood I’ve ever purchased. It used to be that you got a full 3/4” thickness, then industry decided they could get by with selling their product 1/32” thinner, but now this latest sheet was thinner yet at a full 1/16” below a full 3/4”. In addition, the birch veneer was so thin it was problem getting a good clean cut without the veneer splintering off making it very hard to work with.

I was originally looking for Maple finish ply but there was none. The birch plywood is very nice but it is still a bit pricey and I thought it would have come down more after Covid was over. Still this is a nice wood I got to construct a pantry cabinet.

Too many voids and delaminations; veneer layers must be sanded, but they are too thin to sand. Look elsewhere.

Some sheets are flat some are a complete waste of money, you just have to go through the stack and pick the good ones. Quality ways they are ok, top layer of laminate is extremely thin and causes splintering during crosscuts.

The veneer is very thin and it chips and comes off easily. I will not buy this product again and will look for another source of birch plywood.

      Voids and poor veneer
This is my first big project and I’m highly disappointed with this wood. So far I’m about 10 hours into salvaging this effort. At first I chalked it up to being inexperienced and just splintering the veneer but it seems this is the case for everyone else using this wood. There are voids everywhere. For the price, this is pretty disappointing.

Would have been nice if I would not have to dug through 15 shots of other product to get to the birch. Someone should take control of lumber area to make sure it is kept orderly. Remove culls make sure product is wher e it belongs

Really disappointed in the quality of this plywood. It was delaminating so easily that I ended up having to get some wood glue between the layers and clamping them together. The veneer was also extremely thin and prone to peeling off the board. If I hadn't had it cut to pieces and already used in my project, I would have returned it.

The veneer on this plywood is paper thin. I was constantly filling tiny chip outs along the edges with wood filler during a project.

The birch looks beautiful, but easily splinters when cutting causing the veneer to spot and come off in chunks. Sheets were not square.

I ripped this sheet into 3" strips to use as mattress support for a bed frame, only to learn afterwards that the entire sheet had a huge void across its width, causing my strips to just snap like twigs with slight pressure. Shouldn't have wasted my money on the cheap stuff!

I've been working with plywood now for several years, but despite the very high prices on lumber products today, this one was around $88 as of Aug 2023. It did perform well, was around 7 layers, the top and bottom veneers were thick enough to sand and it took a screw well for building the project we had. Overall, it performed well for us.

this product was TRASH there was a void in the center that was not glued it could not be used. I took the cutting back to my store and had the sheet replaced. Hoping that the replacement sheet is not defective. I will not buy this junk again

        Junk. Look Elsewhere.
As nearly everyone else has said, the veneer is paper-thin, and just splinters. Don't waste your money.

The price of sheet goods has gotten ridiculous. I wouldn’t mind paying what I do, but the quality has greatly decreased as well. The outside veneer is paper thin and peels off quite easily.
