This would probably be great if the arms that held the pads would stay locked into position. I initially bought this to dust the ceiling fans in the house, as we have some vaulted ceilings. It’s fine for stuff you can easily reach, but then I’d just use the regular small handled duster. So, not worth the extra money and the extra duster pads you’d use with it.

The six foot pole on the one I bought doesn’t stay extended making it useless for anything but short dusting - I specifically bought it for high up dusting . Very disappointing

The box appears as if it was opend and damaged .

Doesn't hold dusters well. My old extender would actually lock on to the dusters, this new design just slips on. So when dusting an uneven surface, like the top of the of a fan housing, the duster gets stuck and pulls right off the extender.

I have always liked the Swiffer brand, their convenient and the little dusters do a good job picking up dust. I found this Swiffer Extendable Duster with refills as a Special Buy at my local Home Depot and had to buy it. It includes an extendable pole and 4 Swiffer refills. I like the fact that the duster can swivel and the extendable pole reaches 6 ft, now I don’t have to use a ladder or step stool to reach the top of the refrigerator and it can also reach the top of a tall hutch in my dining room. Also great for dusting light fixtures and ceiling fan blades. I highly recommend it!

I just dusted down all my wooden beams, that stretched across my lg living and dining room in ten mins.They were super dusty because I can’t climb and stretch and easily in my old age . Then I changed my duster’s for the third time and did my walls around the top ,also did my ceiling fans , of course changing my dusters’ as needed.This product saved me so much time it’s on believable how fast I got all this cleaned in a small amount of time!!!! Really, it was worth spending a-little money on the Heavy duty six foot extension and Lg,box of exlarge dusters … I have plenty of dusters left over too for more dusting … This Idea 💡 of was genius on who ever came up with this product.

Swifter pads will not stay on the wand. Useless product, I threw it away same day I first used it. Do not purchase this product

Work as well if not better than as described. The headbands to make it easy to get around things. And the 6ft extension is awesome. We have vaulted ceilings this has made cleaning the fans a dream. Before we always had to pull out the extension ladder

I would have given it a 5 star if it were a little thicker. I can reach higher places and shorten to do baseboards.

I thought the ends would bend. I can't clean any high surfaces or even ceiling fans. It was not what I thought it was

doesnt really cover alot of area on passing takes a few times which is a waste..once or twicw sure but 3 or more...NOT

Perfect for vehicle windshields and hard-to-reach areas around dashboards and doors. Picks up road dust perfectly.

Great item to have when you want to dust in those far to reach areas around the home/apt.

Does exactly what it is advertized to do.

I cant get the 6 foot extention rod to lock. it folds back into itself as soon as you try to dust. i cant find any instructions on the box to lock the telescoping handle. it is less than one star, because it does not woork.

Excellent product. Just what I needed to clean ceiling fans and walls.

Meet and fulfill the expectations

I purchased the Swiffer 6 ft dusting kit that contains 1 pole & 4 heavy duty dusters. 2 issues with this produce. 1. The head of the product which uses the 2 dusters has a yellow push button to lock the head in place. Unfortunately while I’m using this product the yellow button does NOT remain in locked position while dusting. I pushed the button till I hear it “click” but while reaching up high the “lock” button becomes undone. 2. The extendable pole (6ft) does not lock in place at any length. The pole “collapses” making the pole shorter while applying pressure on the duster heads to wipe away the dust in high places. On this product the pole does NOT have any locking buttons on any of the extension pieces to prevent it from shortening while using. Perhaps I purchased a defective product? I’d appreciate it if someone will reach out to me via email (which I provided) to determine if the product is functioning as designed or is a defective item. Thanks!

I like that it’s easy to use because I have Parkinson’s and I can reach things easily and it makes dusting easier.
