Great option for thin sheets of steel or aluminum. Need lots of steady force with an impact driver for solid steel.

As turned out to be, it cost me $ .16 cents each…. Too expensive at HD. .prefer made in the USA but I’ll try TEMU Chinese they’re way cheaper there. Or even better at the swapmeet.

Good self-drilling performance. I used them to attach a door closer to a 3/16 metal plate. I had a couple of them break from the actual torque. I found that constantly applying lubricant (e.g. WD-40) on the screws while drilling was the way to avoid breakages. I would not recommend them for high-volume, fast-speed applications but great for anything else.

Worked ok for what I needed. Still broke a few even with pre-drilled holes thru metal girt and 1/4" mild steel.
